Thousands of Telstra customers are facing service disruptions across .
More than 1900 customers have flagged issues with the service on DownDetector, with calls and internet impacted.
A Telstra spokesperson confirmed the network was experiencing problems but said calls to triple zero were not being impacted at this stage.
‘We’re looking into an issue affecting some mobile calls,’ the spokesperson said.
‘We’re working on a fix and hope to get everything back up and running soon.’

‘If you’re a Telstra customer you might be noticing some issues with mobile calls, we’re working on a fix and hope to get everything back up and running soon. We’ll keep you updated,’ Telstra posted to X just before 2pm.
‘Mobile data isn’t affected so other ways of calling like FaceTime/WhatsApp/Messenger can still work.’
‘Phone will allow to ring and then cut out saying call failed,’ one customer reported.
‘Doing it on inbound and outbound calls.’
Other customers said they were able to make phone calls but couldn’t hear the person on the other end once they had been connected.
Telstra said as of 2.30pm, the issue had been fixed.
There was no impact to data or 000 calls.
The issue was caused by a software change and was fixed by rolling that back.
