Travis Kelce scored a breathtaking early touchdown for the Chiefs against the Ravens in their bid to make it to another Super Bowl – prompting wild celebrations from Taylor Swift in the stands at M&T Bank Stadium.
Swift could be seen shouting ‘oh my god’ as the Kansas City star caught a magnificent 19-yard dart from Patrick Mahomes as his team made a dream start in Baltimore. But Lamar Jackson, the Ravens quarterback, soon hauled his team level with a magnificent throw to Zay Flowers for a TD.
It wasn’t long before Swift was celebrating once again, though, when Isiah Pacheco went over the line with two-yard touchdown rush. Swift repeated her celebration from Buffalo last week – holding up 10 fingers as a hat-tip to Pacheco’s number.
But it was Kelce taking center stage and what was turning out to be a performance for the ages – he then overtook Jerry Rice for the most postseason catches in NFL history in the second quarter with his seventh take of the game, moving to a tally of 152 for his career and starring as the Chiefs took a 17-7 lead at halftime.
The NFL toasted his magnificent achievement with a graphic replicating the artwork for Swift’s Midnights record.

The singer is cheering Kelce on in the biggest game that he has played since they went public with their relationship last September. Win, and the Chiefs have a shot at winning a second straight Super Bowl next month. Lose, and the season is over.
Swift walked in on Sunday afternoon flanked by security as she made her way to her seat alongside Brittany Mahomes, the wife of the Chiefs quarterback Patrick for the win-or-bust game.
The two appear to have become firm friends since Swift went public with her relationship with Kelce last September, and were also pictured in a VIP suite with actress Keleigh Teller. Cara Delevingne was also there, wearing a red hat that was presumably in tribute to the Chiefs, after also cheering them on in Buffalo last week.
Brittany made her way to the field for a brief moment before the game began to sample the sizzling atmosphere while Taylor stayed inside as the minutes leading up to kickoff ticked by. Mahomes had the number ’15’ emblazoned across her coat – the number her husband wears for the Chiefs.
Travis’s brother Jason was also pictured mingling with fans in the build-up to the game but appeared to make a more subdued entrance compared to last week, where he was necking shots of alcohol with tailgating fans in Buffalo. He took a seat in the suite with wife Kelce and parents Donna and Ed.
Earlier, landing to a grey rainy day in Maryland and shielded by a thicket of umbrellas Swift, 34, touched down in Maryland shortly after 1pm, stepping off her private jet and into one of a cavalcade of waiting SUVs.
As she made her way into her VIP suite, her boyfriend Kelce was already coming to blows with players on the Ravens team during the warmup. Kelce threw away Ravens kicker Justin Tucker’s helmet as he appeared to repeatedly wonder into the space where Mahomes was warming up.
Only thirty minutes earlier, confident and with his trademark swagger, Kelce flashed the peace-sign at cheering fans as he and his fellow Kansas City Chiefs loaded into coaches to head from their hotel to M&T Bank stadium early afternoon. The Chiefs shared a video of their star man arriving at the stadium by quoting a Taylor lyric from her hit ‘Ready For It’, captioning the clip: ‘Knew he was a Killa first time that I saw him’ – Kelce’s nickname, and Instagram handle, is ‘KillaTrav’.

Tight end Kelce runs out onto the field for the start of the game on Sunday afternoon
Seen in exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com Kelce and co Chiefs left shortly after 12.30pm with the clock ticking down to their face-off with the Ravens which started at 3pm EST.
Kelce, 34, followed quarterback Mahomes, 28, who was sharply dressed in a maroon suit, complete with black tie, a smart pocket square and velvet slipper style shoes despite the damp Maryland drizzle.
Chiefs fans crowded to see their heroes and holler support for what they hope will be the game that sees them secure their ticket to Las Vegas later in the month.
Taylor, meanwhile, was getting ready to cheer Travis on with his older brother Jason also in the stands. Their mom, Donna, was also pictured at the stadium.
Jason had a wild evening last Sunday, cheering Travis on from the same suite as the singer. When Travis scored the first of his two touchdowns on the night, a shirtless Jason jumped out the suite into the 20 degree weather and necked a beer in front of the stunned Bills fans.
There will no doubt be wild celebrations into the night if the Chiefs upset the odds on Sunday and make the Super Bowl. But it will also pose Taylor with a little bit of a travel problem if the Chiefs win.
She will have to race back from Tokyo, Japan that week – where she kicks off her Eras Tour in 2024.
Her final show there is on Saturday, February 10 but the time difference works in her favor if she makes the mad dash back to the west coast for the biggest night in the American sporting calendar.

Even the Chiefs fans were excited for the most famous WAG to cheer the team on
She won’t have too much time to celebrate if the Chiefs go all the way and get their hands on the trophy. The following weekend she will be in Melbourne where she will begin to tour .
As Taylor made her way to the Ravens’ stadium, fans were already out in force for one of two huge games in the NFL on Sunday. Some were even seen holding up signs ready to welcome her.
One Ravens fan was holding a sign saying ‘Lamar be their end game’ – referencing the Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Speaking to reporters in Kansas City on Friday, Kelce underlined just how big a game this is to him.
‘I’m thinking about this one on Sunday and I want it more than I’ve ever wanted one in my life,’ Kelce said.
‘There’s nothing like playoff football,’ he added. ‘It doesn’t matter who you are, where you play, if you rally together with the men and women that you’ve got and the team that you’ve got, like I said you can play anywhere you want to. You got to bring that juice no matter who’s in the crowd.’
