Taylor Swift fans convinced themselves that the pop star was pregnant this week thanks to an optical illusion.
The rumor mill went into overdrive after the 35-year-old stepped out in New York with what appeared to be a pregnant belly on display.
‘She’s eight months pregnant,’ wrote one fan on X, while another posted, ‘Taylor appears pregnant in New York!’
However, upon closer inspection, it was clear that Swift’s black mini-dress had blended into a black car in the background, which made it look like she had a large baby bump.
The misunderstanding comes as an insider exclusively revealed to the Daily Mail that Swift’s ex-best friend Blake Lively, her texts, calls and emails to the singer are going unanswered.
Swift is said to have iced out her pal of ten years, due to feeling ‘betrayed’ and ‘exploited’ by Lively, 37.
‘She’s been reaching out to her with texts, voicemails and even emails begging to mend what they once had. Blake isn’t giving up on trying to get her friendship with Taylor back on track,’ the source said.

The pop icon was spotted wearing a custom Wove x Michelle Wie West gold and diamond tennis friendship bracelet with the letters “TNT” during the outing (via TMZ).
The outing also came just days after Swift successfully purchased her own music catalogue, for a sum reported to be $360 million by some and anywhere between $600 million and $1 billion by others.
Swift was seen wearing a black minidress with silver platform heels, diamond strand earrings and carrying a black handbag.
Gomez was spotted a sleeveless brown top tucked into matching brown pants with a brown jacket and brown pointed-toe heels for the outing.

It’s unclear what the besties discussed on the outing, whether it was Swift’s successful music buyback or her relationship with Kelce.
