Instead, the Euphoria star, 27, melted hearts by posting new photos of her beloved German Shepherd, Scully, who appears noticeably bigger since she last shared snaps of him on Instagram.
In the shots, Scully sits outdoors with his tongue playfully sticking out and his head cocked to the side, showing off his now-grown fluffy coat and signature puppy-dog eyes.
Sweeney first introduced the pup to followers back in April, and the latest update shows just how much he has grown.

One viral clip shows Sweeney standing in front of a poster reading ‘Sydney Sweeney has great genes,’ with the word ‘genes’ crossed out and replaced with ‘jeans.’
Another video includes Sweeney saying, ‘Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color,’ as the camera pans to her blue eyes, then she adds, ‘My jeans are blue.’
While the campaign’s clever wordplay was intended to be playful and bold, it ignited accusations on social media platforms of promoting racial undertones, eugenics, and white supremacy — largely due to the focus on genetics alongside Sweeney’s blue-eyed image.

A new report from The Star claims Sweeney is dating Braun, with a source telling the publication the music manager, 44, has been telling his inner circle about the romance.
Scooter, who has infamously feuded with Taylor Swift, has been asking his friends to stay mum about the romance for the time being, the Star source adds.
The publication notes the duo were seen out in Venice during Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding weekend in video shared by a TikToker, however they were also joined by friends.

The source explained that the performer did, however, feel ‘overwhelmed’ by her ‘relationship and her wedding.’
Ultimately, she ‘didn’t feel right about’ walking down the aisle and wants to focus on her ‘magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago.’
