The Eagles are releasing cornerback Darius Slay, according to a report.
Slay, 34, started every game in the postseason and ultimately played a pivotal role in helping Philadelphia beat the Chiefs 40-22.
But according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Super Bowl LIX winners are parting ways with the defensive back.
Slay will be designated as a post-June 1 release, saving the Eagles $4.3million in cap space.
Slay signed a three-year, $42million deal with the Eagles in 2023, with $23million guaranteed at signing.
Since being traded to the team from the Lions in 2020, Slay has been a mainstay for the Philly defense, earning three Pro Bowl selections.

He played 91.2 percent of the defensive snaps in the playoffs as the Eagles went all the way to the Super Bowl this year before taking down Kansas City.
Slay’s wife, Jennifer, appeared to have an emotional reaction to the move on social media.
‘Real tears,’ she wrote on X.
Following the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade in Philadelphia on February 14, Slay was given his own parade in his hometown of Brunswick, Georgia, as the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
