Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas was forced to cancel his appearance on the BBC show spin-off It Takes Two.
The Emmerdale actor, 35, was expected to appear alongside his dance partner Luba Mushtuk on the show.
However, the pro dancer arrived solo and explained Adam was absent due to medical reasons.
Host Fleur East, 35, told viewers: ‘Unfortunately, Adam is feeling a bit under the weather, but please mention the lovely Luba Mushtuk.’
Luba then proceeded to tell the shocked viewers ‘it is so strange to be here by myself’.

‘He is resting now. He just didn’t feel very well but he is resting and getting ready for tomorrow night.’
Adam will take to the stage again this weekend and will be set to perform a horror-themed routine for Halloween.
The no-show comes after Adam took to Instagram earlier this week to admit that he is finding it ‘tough’ to leave his happy family behind when he leaves in the early hours of the morning for training.
He captioned a sweet snap of his wife and daughter with: ‘Leaving these two peas in a pod/bed was tough! Like mother like daughter. Although she may look like her mother, she’s a lot more like me ahhaha don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing haha bless her x’
Last week Adam broke his silence after his emotional Strictly dance on Saturday – after a week of ‘setbacks’ including being banned from rehearsals amid fears of a flu outbreak.
The actor scored 32 on Saturday night’s show, earning a nine for the first time for his Couple’s Choice to Backstreet Boys Medley with pro partner Luba.
It followed a difficult week for the star, who was forced to miss rehearsals and had ‘less time’ to train.
Adam revealed he was ‘proud’ of the performance while praising his ‘beautiful partner in crime’ Luba.
No show: Host Fleur East told viewers: ‘Unfortunately, Adam is feeling a bit under the weather, but please mention the lovely Luba Mushtuk’
He took to Instagram to write: ‘Wow what another memorable night spent with this one!!!
‘With a few set backs this week leading up to the show, I’ve got to say am proud of the performance we delivered!
‘We went out there last night, and gave it everything we had! Feel like week on week I’m improving and getting more comfortable and confident, with each show! and that’s crazy because I feel like am getting less time to train.
‘I know am not the best dancer, but I’m a chancer and I’m going to give 110% every chance that I get!
‘Thanks again To my beautiful partner in crime, whom I’d be lost with out!! I love having you by my side ❤️’.
And posting to her Instagram story, Luba added: ‘We just did it! And we got a nine!’
A thrilled Adam added: ‘We got a nine! My first nine. And Luba’s first ever nine! Oh my, what a night!’
