The Lionesses were crowned champions in Sunday’s Euros final and the proud celebs of the country were quick to come out and celebrate the team online.

The team roared to victory in the women’s final following a nail-biting game, which finished with an incredible 3-1 penalty shoot out win.

Stars filmed the tense moment Chloe Kelly scored the winning goal and shared their jubilant celebrations online moments after.

Amanda Holden was with her co-star and friend Alan Carr watching the game with their film crew while away shooting Amanda & Alan’s Greek Job.

The TV personality shared the moment that England won the match and then a further clip of herself and Alan singing along to the Three Lions song.

David Beckham, who captained the England men’s side between 2000 and 2006, also sent his congratulations to the team.

Ashley James also filmed the same moment and showed her family jumping for joy as they celebrated Kelly’s successful penalty.

Stacey Solomon tuned into the game from Pickle Cottage and videoed her children dancing around the room when England were crowned champions.

Resharing a photo of herself with England football star Leah Williamson, Shania Twain shared her iconic tagline: ‘Let’s f***ing go girls!!’

She added: ‘So happy for the Lionesses’

Former England star David Beckham’s son Romeo, 22, who previously played for Brentford B, was among millions watching the game.

He also shared Kelly’s winning goal on his Instagram Stories, posting a slew of red and white hearts while tagging Chloe and the team in his post.

Toni Terry, who is married to former England captain John Terry, called the team ‘amazing’ as she shared her own congratulations.

Chicken Shop Date star Amelia Dimoldenberg watched the game from a pub garden with her pals and posted a look at their celebrations on social media.

Jessie Ware was delighted by the team celebrating to her 2012 hit If You’re Never Gonna Move, as she wrote: ‘Amazing footballers! Excellent taste!’

After a gruelling 120 minutes of play against the World Cup winners and holding their nerve through penalties, the England players have gone wild with celebrations.

It was Chloe Kelly again who scored the decisive goal after coolly slotting the crucial penalty into the back of the net, following two huge saves from goalkeeper Hannah Hampton.

England won the shootout 3-1 after an initial scare when Beth Mead slipped on the opening kick.

Supporters stood on tables, waved flags, threw drinks in the air and excitedly hugged each other as England claimed victory, while the Prince of Wales and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer watched on from the stands in Basel, Switzerland.

Fans draped in England flags joined the Prince of Wales and his daughter Princess Charlotte in holding their heads in their hands as Mariona Caldentey put Spain 1-0 up at the end of the first half.

But thankfully Arsenal striker Alessia Russo managed to successfully divert Chloe Kelly‘s cross into the back of the net in the 57th minute – sending Lionesses supporters into raptures and equalising the score.

Sir Keir Starmer has congratulated the Lionesses on retaining their Euros title.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said: ‘Champions! Congratulations @Lionesses – what a team. What a game. What drama.

‘You dug deep when it mattered most and you’ve made the nation proud. History makers.’

William and Charlotte were pictured in Switzerland for the Euros final as the royal family led the nation in wishing good luck to England’s Lionesses.

Shortly before kick-off, an image of the pair was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s X account with the caption ‘let’s go, Lionesses’.

The Prince of Wales, who is patron of the Football Association (FA), applauded the national anthem as he stood next to Charlotte in the stadium. He was also joined by Sir Keir Starmer and his wife, Victoria.

In a show of support ahead of the final, the Band of the Grenadier Guards performed Three Lions on the Buckingham Palace forecourt, while the royal family’s official X account posted: ‘Wishing the very best of luck to the @Lionesses in the Women’s Euro Final this evening.’
