A 22-year-old man who allegedly mowed into and killed four Pepperdine University seniors with his BMW in Malibu has been charged with murder.

Fraser Michael Bohm, 22, was re-arrested Tuesday on four counts of murder in the deaths of Niamh Rolston, 20, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir and Deslyn Williams, all 21, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced.

The four sorority sisters died at the scene when the BMW driven by Bohm – the night after his 22nd birthday – plowed into them as they stood by their cars close to a Pepperdine frat house off of the Pacific Coast Highway last week.

Bohm was initially arrested after the crash and charged with gross vehicular manslaughter, but was ‘subsequently released to allow detectives time to gather the evidence needed to secure the strongest criminal filing and conviction.’

The sheriff’s department is collecting evidence including toxicology, speed analysis, execution of search warrants, the police said in a press release. 

Bohn’s bail is set to $8million with his next court date set for Nov 1.

‘The Sheriff’s Department is relentlessly working to ensure we get justice for the victims’ families,’ the department said.

The horror unfolded around 8:30pm local time close to Malibu Pier and La Costa Beach, when Bohm was thought to have plowed into a group of parked cars and then hit the women, who were walking nearby. 

Witnesses said that Bohm was unscathed after the incident and attempted to leave the scene until onlookers apprehended him. 

A sheriff’s office spokesperson said that a DUI investigation is also taking place. 

Officials said that there was a Pepperdine fraternity party being held in the area, the official said that the victims had been planning to meet up with others at the time of the tragedy. 

The frat house sits on a dangerous stretch of road known as Dead Man’s Curve by locals, with exclusive AlertContent.com photos illustrating the dangers of the sharp bend where Bohm lost control of his BMW.

Footage obtained by KTLA from the night of the crash showed a grim-faced Bohm being given a sobriety test by cops while the mangled remains of his red BMW are seen being towed away.

AlertContent.com revealed earlier that the speeding car that killed the four seniors was purchased by Bohm’s mother Brooke, 57, using a down payment of $25,000 in 2017 – with the remaining installments paid by his dad Chris, 59.

According to a settlement that concluded the couple’s 2018 divorce and obtained exclusively by AlertContent.com, the vehicle was gifted to Bohm on his 18th birthday.

The settlement also reveals details of his family’s lavish lifestyle – including the secluded Malibu gated ‘estate’ Bohm’s mother ended up with in the divorce. ha house was put up for sale in late September for $9,750,000 but within a week the price had been reduced to $8,795,000.

Realtors described the house as exuding a ‘hip, beach chic vibe’ and stressed the panoramic ocean views from the full-length deck ‘where you can relax on comfortable couches while enjoying sunrises, sunsets, dolphins playing and views of Dume, Catalina, the South Bay and the beautiful Queen’s Necklace stretching to Palos Verdes’.

Bohm, who is 6’4′ and 190lbs, still lives at the property which, according to the listing, sits in a ‘celebrity enclave’ and includes a bespoke chef’s kitchen and terraced gardens.

The listing goes on: ‘This private estate boasts terraced gardens ideal for relaxation and expansive patios for dining and entertaining. Imagine hosting your next dinner party under the stars with the stunning coastline as your backdrop.

Bohm is the youngest of three siblings. His sisters Hunter, 25, and Haiden, 24, also live at the home along with their photographer mother.

While it is unclear what Bohm now does for a living, video unearthed by AlertContent.com show he was a highly rated high school pitcher and played for Oaks Christian School before he graduated.

The private $31,250-a-year college prep school near Los Angeles counts Sofia Richie and Mariel Hemingway’s model daughter Dree among its alumni.

According to her Linkedin page, Hunter is currently studying for a degree in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing in Los Angeles.

Haiden, meanwhile, studied at Berkeley before going on to take a course in sociology at the University of Southern California and is now a freelance digital marketing manager. 

Dad Chris is the Vice President of Sales West at Palo Alto based medical equipment manufacturer ReCor Medical.

Shortly before 1pm on Thursday, Chris was seen looking grim as he arrived at the family home in a Chevrolet rental car. 

The dad-of-three, seen in exclusive AlertContent.com photos, now lives in Nashville. 

Although Brooke owns a photography business, the settlement shows that at the time it made virtually nothing with her main income coming from social security disability checks and a spousal support award of more than $6,000 a month.

According to the divorce papers the family also own a second home in celebrity favorite Palm Desert where former President Barack Obama has enjoyed golf vacations. 

The $700,000 three-bedroom condo is part of the upscale Monterey Country Club and has mountain views while butting directly onto the golf course. Brooke’s parents had lived in the condo before their deaths.

Despite their lavish lifestyle, the settlement shows the family was also in debt with more than $80,000 owed on credit cards.

Traces of the accident can still be seen at the scene, including what appears to be blood on a wall

Bohm has no previous criminal record and he and his family have now deleted most of their social media pages.

According to witnesses, he had attempted to flee the scene and had to be ‘tackled down’ and stopped by students from the nearby Pepperdine Sigma Chi fraternity.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Maria Navarro said that alcohol was not believed to be a factor, after officers conducted a field sobriety test. The City of Malibu said that a ‘speeding motorist’ was to blame for the crash.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Pepperdine president Jim Gash confirmed the identities of the four women and said he had been left heartbroken by the accident.

He said: ‘To the students who loved, lived with, and were in community with the departed members of our Pepperdine family, my heart is broken with yours.

‘I join you in your grief as we process this profound loss.’

Vice President for Student Affairs Connie Horton added: ‘In this time of immeasurable grief and heartache, we stand together as a community and turn to our faith and each other to find hope and healing in the midst of this tragedy.

‘Each departed student brought a unique gift and spirit to the University, and we deeply grieve the unfulfilled hopes and aspirations of our precious community members.’

A memorial service for all four victims was held at the school’s Malibu campus on Thursday morning.
