Stacey Solomon has quietly quit Loose Women after 13 years on the panel, the Daily Mail can reveal.
The presenter, 35, last appeared on the ITV series in December 2024 for the show’s 25-hour Talkathon, which was held to raise awareness of the network’s Britain Get Talking campaign, and her last panelist slot was on June 3, 2024.
But eight months after returning as a guest, sources close to Loose Women have revealed Stacey has been ‘too busy’ with her other television work to come on and the feeling is that she has completely cut ties.
While Stacey is yet to appear on the show this year, she came on the programme once in 2024 and twice the previous year, with her regular slots dating back to 2022.
A TV insider revealed that the Loose Women team made multiple attempts to book Stacey last year because they value having her on the show but they kept receiving ‘no’s’ so decided to move forward with other talent like Olivia Attwood, 34, and GK Barry, 26, who also appeal to a younger audience.
It’s believed the mother-of-five has focused all her energy on her BAFTA nominated BBC show Sort Your Life Out and reality series Stacey and Joe, which gave viewers an insight into her family life at Essex home Pickle Cottage.

A source revealed: ‘The team at Loose Women did everything possible last year to have Stacey on the panel, the viewers love her and there’s always a boost to the ratings when she’s on.
‘But it’s clear Stacey has quit Loose Women, she hasn’t been on the panel all year, there are no plans for her to appear, she most certainly hasn’t been booked and the show stopped reaching out months ago.
‘It’s highly unlikely she will feature next year once the show goes down to airing just 30 weeks a year, there will only be a few slots available to the regular presenters.
‘Stacey still has a lot of close friends on the show like panelists Kaye Adams and Linda Robson so the hope is she will reunite with the panel as a guest.
‘But for now bosses have moved forward with the likes of Olivia Attwood and GK Barry, given they also appeal to a younger demographic.’
Stacey first joined Loose Women in 2011 and her last appearance on the ITV series was as a guest on December 5, 2024.
She came on the show once during the whole of 2024 and twice the previous year and hasn’t been seen as a regular panelist since 2022.

In May, Stacey shocked her fanbase when she complained about losing out at the BAFTA TV Awards, saying: ‘I know I’m supposed to take it gracefully like a champ but, I’ll be honest, I’m devastated.’
She continued: ‘Everyone got dressed up and was really hopeful, I think because they work so hard. It’s not an easy show to make, Sort Your Life Out and the team work so hard to make it happen and they so deserve the BAFTA.’
Her show Sort Your Life Out had been nominated in the Entertainment Programme category but lost out to Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder’s Grand Tour.
In January, Loose Women will only air 30 weeks of the year after ITV bosses slashed the budgets of its biggest daytime programmes.
Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and Loose Women have all been impacted by the cuts as 220 staff members across the three shows will lose their jobs by the end of 2025.
Lorraine faces the biggest losses as the show’s airtime has been halved from an hour to 30 minutes and it will only be on for 30 weeks a year rather than 52.
Under the changes, the Daily Mail revealed that Loose Women will no longer have a live studio audience or celebrity guests and the show’s focus is set to be on the regular panelists like Ruth Langsford and Denise Welch.
The Loose Women studio is also moving from the Television Centre to a smaller space in central London and will be shared with Lorraine.
Panelist Nadia Sawalha has spoken of her upset over the cuts to Loose Women, saying members of the team were suffering behind the scenes.
Nadia commented on the unpredictability of working in TV and said the ITV announcements this year had been ‘brutal.’
She said: ‘I could be let go tomorrow, in five years, you don’t know because we’re not employees. So I can’t tell you anything accept I am on for my next contract.
‘What has been brutal over the past week and I am getting tearful about it, is that hundreds of people are going to be made redundant out of the blue.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Stacey’s spokesperson and an ITV representative for comment.
