Spy Kids 3 star Robert Vito has scored a legal victory and will not face charges in connection with his arrest last month.
Vito was taken into custody on a felony domestic violence charge after an alleged altercation with his then-girlfriend Lindsey Jennings, with whom he has since split.
Later in November, the Los Angeles County District Attorney bumped his case down to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
The development meant he would not face any felony charges, as the City Attorney’s Office only prosecutes misdemeanors and select infractions.
Now, it has emerged that Vito, 37, will not be hit with any charges at all, but will have to attend a hearing on alternate methods of conflict resolution.
He will meet with the city attorney to discuss ways of preventing similar situations going forward, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office informed TMZ.

If he is able to avoid any legal problems for a year, Vito will never have to face charges related to his November arrest.
His attorney Bob M. Farahan said he and his client feel the arrest should never have occurred, but acknowledged that the police had only heard Jennings’ version of events and were thus operating on limited information.

Days before Thanksgiving, it emerged that Vito had avoided being hit with a felony after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office bumped his case down to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
The LA County District Attorney’s Office had reportedly determined that Vito’s case was not severe enough to be eligible for any felony charges.
Prosecutors had been examining Vito’s case since he was arrested last month.
Just six days after the arrest, a judge in Los Angeles issued Jennings a restraining order against Vito, with whom she shares a three-year-old son, Bode Vito Armando Diaz.
The Spy Kids 3: Game Over actor was released on the morning of November 9 after posting $50,000 bond and spending the night in jail, according to TMZ.

His career as a screen actor appears to have dried up in recent years, as his last credited performance on IMDb is from the 2011 movie Robotropolis.
Efforts to contact the actor were unsuccessful.
So far he doesn’t appear to have publicly commented on his arrest or subsequent legal developments.
