alert-–-spencer-pratt-tears-into-top-gavin-newsom-aide-for-mocking-his-looksAlert – Spencer Pratt tears into top Gavin Newsom aide for mocking his looks

Spencer Pratt tore into one of Gavin Newsom’s aides for mocking his appearance during a heated online exchange about the California governor’s whereabouts.

The drama began when the 42-year-old former reality TV star, who has become a fierce adversary of Newsom, called out the Democratic governor for allegedly being in Italy as the ongoing Garnet Fire wreaked havoc on Fresno County.

But the social media squabble ended with Newsom’s brazen communications director, Izzy Gardon, taking a jab at The Bold and the Beautiful actor’s looks.

‘I wanna be in Italy like Gavin Newsom this week! Oh wait Newsom let my town burn down with all my wealth and possessions,’ Pratt wrote on X on Sunday.

‘NEWSOM, you didn’t learn from [LA Mayor] Karen Bass going to Africa!? You are supposed to be running CA not eating pasta and drinking wine with globalist[s] in Italy!’

Pratt was referring to Bass’ trip to Ghana during the Palisades Fires in January.

In another angry post – which captured Gordon’s attention – Pratt asked if anyone could ‘prove his sources wrong’ that Newsom was overseas.

‘My sources are saying he’s in Kenya looking for his birth certificate,’ Gardon sarcastically responded, alluding to the debunked conspiracy theory that former President Barack Obama was born in the African country.

Sources inside the governor’s office told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that Newsom and his family are not in Italy.

In an official statement, also shared on Tuesday, Gardon wrote: ‘As has been our longstanding practice, our office does not share information related to the family’s personal travel.’

Gardon did confirm that Newsom is out of state for a baptism.

On Monday, Gardon doubled down on his attack on Pratt in response to another user saying they had to Google who he was.

Gardon shared side-by-side an image from his Hollywood stardom days and a more recent shot.

‘Are we sure this guy is even him? I think it’s a bad body double,’ he wrote.

The post sparked instant backlash from people who thought Gardon’s post was a cheap shot.

Pratt himself responded to Gardon’s mockery of his appearance, accusing the top aide of harassment.

‘Director of Communications for Governor Gavin Newsom shaming my appearance. His boss lets my town burn down and now he has employees harassing me,’ Pratt wrote.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Pratt and Gardon for comment.

While Gardon responded to inquiries about Newsom’s whereabouts, he did not respond to questions about his qualms with Pratt.

Pratt’s recent grievances against Newsom come as the Garnet Fire, which has expanded across 26,982 acres, rages on in Fresno County, according to Cal Fire.

The blaze began on August 24 from a lightning strike, and as of Tuesday morning, only about 12 percent of the fire has been contained.

Evacuation orders have been issued throughout the county, with some areas being warned that the flames are posing an ‘immediate threat to life.’

Pratt has been vocal about his distrust of Newsom since the Palisades Fires in January.

When the wildfires destroyed the wealthy community, Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag were forced to flee their Pacific Palisades residence, which he bought in 2017 for $2.5 million.

The catastrophic fires took 31 direct lives, destroyed over 10,000 homes, displaced thousands, and scorched over 40,000 acres across LA and the surrounding areas.

Spencer’s been chronicling his heartbreaking journey on social media, from watching his home burn to searching through the ashes for anything that survived, to seeking financial support from their family.

Aside from documenting wildfire destruction, he has relentlessly called out Newsom and LA Mayor Bass for neglecting California communities in need of relief.

Pratt and Montag have also joined a lawsuit against the city over the damage to their properties from the flames, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Their lawsuit, filed in California’s Superior Court in Los Angeles County in January, accuses the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power of ‘failing to maintain an adequate water supply system to fight the blazes.’
