Spencer Matthews has completed his epic desert challenge for charity by running 30 marathons in 30 consecutive days
The presenter, 36, shared a post from the remote location on Tuesday as he celebrated the incredible milestone with wife Vogue Williams and set a Guinness World Record
‘That’s 1,274.02km of some of the world’s toughest terrain with no comfort in which to recover.
‘I did this to raise awareness and funds for the incredible work that @globals_make_some_noise do to support small charities across the UK, making sure no one has to go through life’s toughest challenges alone. (For more detailed information regarding the causes and specific examples of how your donations can help please refer to my most recent pinned post).
‘So far we have raised a staggering £342,508 but as far as I’m concerned, we are just getting started… Please consider donating now if you haven’t already via the link in my bio.
‘100% of your donations go directly to Global’s Make Some Noise and absolutely nothing has gone or will go to me, my team or the logistics of the challenge.
‘Huge thanks to my incredible support team without whom this would have been impossible. Your professionalism and constant prevention of issues before they became serious allowed me to achieve this goal. A truly unforgettable journey. What a month! What a feeling!’
He’s dined on a boiled goat’s head among other local foods over the 30 days and has kept his fans up to date on the epic journey via his social media.
Last week he revealed he lost two stone while he was doing the 30 marathon challenge. He said the exercise was ‘quite extreme’ and he was burning as much as 7,000 calories a day while running in the heat.
The trek was the equivalent of running the entire length of the UK, only through desert.
Vogue shared some sweet snaps of their trip on Instagram stories earlier on Tuesday.
In one photo, the DJ got more than she bargained for as she posed next to a camel.

Spencer Matthews 'can't wait' to see his family and has been 'having withdrawals' as he gears up to finish his 30-marathon epic desert challenge
She joked: ‘He was really into me’.
Vogue also shared a clip of herself running across the tough terrain and admired her husband’s strength for taking on such a mammoth challenge.
So far, £342,000 has been pledged to charity but the marathons haven’t been without their challenges.
Spencer has been running in daily temperatures of over 30C – he runs at 3.30am local time, to be able to control the temperature of his runs but during the day the average daily high temperature has been 38C with the highest recorded being 44C.
He had a late start on Marathon 28 which saw him running 17 kilometres in 37C heat.
On Monday, he completed his 29th marathon in four hours 28 minutes – one of his quickest times yet.
Speaking to the Mail, Spencer said when he is finished, he hopes to help make running accessible for all children.
It comes after Vogue shared some sweet snaps of their trip on Instagram stories on Tuesday ahead of the final run

‘I daydream all the time, particularly out here, sometimes I’ll fall into a two hour daydream when I’m running,’ he said.
‘It’s premature to talk about it but I would love running to be accessible to all children in the UK.
‘Whatever, that means I haven’t sat down and tried to figure that out yet, but it’s probably something that I will look into when I get back, how to make running more accessible for young people.’
Spencer said he has thought about his wife Vogue whilst running ‘all the time’ and that Taylor Swift has also helped him through.
He said: ‘I think about Vogue all the time when I run but I think about her when I run.
‘We listen to great music too. We’re Swifties too, by the way. I think Taylor Swift is probably our favourite.
‘I can’t wait to see my family – Vogue and the kids get here tomorrow – I can’t wait for that – I am in withdrawal I think from seeing them. I’m really looking forward to that.’
To prepare, he had been running in a heat chamber back in the UK and during one session, his temperature rose to 42 degrees.
He explained at the time: ‘The heat chamber is at the London South Bank University and and it’s 50 degrees, it has a running machine in it which you have to power yourself, you run on a hamster wheel and for two hours at a time.
‘The aim of the game is to keep your heart rate at a certain level. My body temperature rose the other day to 42, which is a dangerous fever.
‘During the challenge though, I’ll be supported by my team. I’ll have food, water and gels but I am trying to do all of this with just fruit and nuts.’
As well as his physical commitment to the challenge, Spencer had also transformed his diet, which helped him to increase muscle mass and refuel his body with the necessary protein it needs following hours of cardio.
He said before the challenge: ‘It’s a calorie game really. I am pretty healthy with my food. Earlier this year I read Chris van Tulleken’s book Ultra-Processed People and I found it completely fascinating.
‘Long story short, he basically talks about the importance of eating good quality food if you can, single ingredient food you cook yourself, vegetables, rice, fish, grains, chicken, less heavily marketed and processed food, I have been doing that for a while and feel great.’
Meanwhile in the lead up to Vogue greeting him at the finish line, she said: ‘I think it’s amazing how well Spenno has done.

‘We are all so proud of him – and T keeps telling everyone he meets that his Daddy is doing 30 marathons in 30 days.
‘The most important part is the amount of money Spenno is raising – Global’s Make Some Noise does amazing work and the money will go a long way.’
With the run, the former Made In Chelsea star is also raising money for charity Global’s Make Some Noise.
