A homicide investigation is underway following the death of a child in central Queensland.
Multiple emergency service responders were called to a Moore Park Beach home on the coastal outskirts of Bundaberg at about 4.45pm on Monday afternoon.
A person was found unresponsive at the Regency Street home and couldn’t be revived.
Daily Mail understands the victim was a child.
A crime scene has been set up and an investigation into the death has been launched.
‘There is no threat to the community,’ a police statement read.
‘No further information is available at time.
Screams of horror from a male were heard echoing throughout the normally quiet beachside suburb, as more than 30 neighbors watched on, some of them in tears.
A distressed man was seen on his hands and knees in despair.
