Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s New Orleans former home has sold on auction for $2.8 million, a fraction of the original listing price, amid their lengthy court battle.
The couple bought the 7,703 square foot mansion in the city’s iconic French Quarter in 2006, before selling it in 2016 – shortly after Jolie filed for divorce.
Built in the 1828, the historic home features many modern elements – including an elevator, gym, outdoor pool and water fountain.
The former celebrity power couple snagged the house for $3.5 million cash and sold it for $4.9 million.
It has seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, a grand winding staircase, hardwood floors and marble mantles.

The two stars have been duking it out in court for years – all the while, Brad and Angelina have also been intertwined in a nasty custody war over their six children
Despite admitting she fell in love with Pitt during filming she insisted ‘to be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive.
‘I could not look at myself in the morning if I did that. I wouldn’t be attracted to a man who would cheat on his wife.’
The pair tied the knot in 2014 – after dating for almost 10 years.
‘Brangelina’ share six children – Maddox, who Jolie adopted from Cambodia in 2002, Zahara, who was adopted from an Ethiopian orphanage in 2005 and Pax are the couple’s non-biological children.
Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne are their biological kids.
The two stars have been duking it out in court for years, with the bitter battle stemming from Angelina’s decision to sell her stake in the French vineyard, which they had purchased together while they were dating in 2008, in 2021.
Brad initially claimed that she made the sale behind his back and alleged that his ex was trying to ‘intentionally harm’ the business’ reputation and ‘undermine’ his investment.
