Renee Rapp, 25, appeared on a recent episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper when she made the social faux pas.
During their chat, Alex asked the singer: ‘What would you do if you were forced to have dinner with a straight white man whose personality revolved around Joe Rogan being his religion?’
Renee responded, looking confused, ‘I need you to tell me something. Who the f**k is Joe Rogan?
‘Because I saw something… I saw a TikTok using his name today, and I was like, “What is that?”‘
She confessed: ‘And that was not the first time I’ve heard that name. But I’m not sure who that is.’
Renee then questioned if he was in the movie Ocean’s Eleven, which Alex quickly denied.
‘Who is it?’ the Mean Girls star asked again before picking up her phone to look him up online.

However, when the host asked Renee if she had seen Fear Factor, which Joe hosted between 2001 and 2006, she also was unaware of the show.
Then the host asked if she had ever watched UFC.
‘He’s a fighter?’ Renee quizzed, reading from her phone, she said, ‘He’s my height. I guess you don’t have to be tall to be a fighter.’
The singer had a look of both confusion and panic as she continued to read about him on her phone – and the pair quickly moved on to another topic.
The short but comedic moment quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the podcast with dozens chiming in on social media.
‘In six words, she called him irrelevant and short. I’m dead,’ someone wrote on a TikTok video of the exchange.
‘She gives unbothered Gen Z queen love it,’ another added.

However, others weren’t convinced the Not My Fault singer didn’t know who Joe Rogan was – and rushed to his defense.
‘She knows who Joe Rogan is,’ someone affirmed.
‘Hating on Rogan is wild,’ wrote another disgruntled viewer.
Others shared that they were ‘disappointed’ and scathingly added: ‘Who is Renee? Anyways. Joe Rogan, 1,000 times more famous and successful than any of these two are.’
