Dozens of teens were seen throwing punches outside a Las Vegas casino as part of a massive brawl that is suspected to have been organized on social media.

The melee began at the intersection of West Lone Mountain Road and Rancho Drive the night of March 9.

Posts advertising a ‘Santa Fe Station Shutdown’ event circulated online before the violence broke out, urging teens to meet at the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.

The teens initially attempted to enter the casino but were turned away by security.

It is unclear what triggered the fight, but a series of videos posted to social media shows teens chasing each other down a sidewalk while throwing punches.

The fight subsequently spilled over over into street, with juveniles shoving each other and landing blows while others stood around filming.

Local business owners told KSNV they had to lock their doors out of concern for their employees’ safety.

In one clip, a police cruiser could be seen sitting in a nearby gas station with its lights flashing.

‘The cops were already here parked in this parking lot…and there were some right here but they just had their lights flashing with no siren but they were just parked,’ witness Corinne Enochs told KSNV.

No arrests have been reported in connection to the incident.

The brawl was reminiscent of a similar incident last December in Downtown Summerlin where hordes of teens gathered outside a shopping center before violence broke out.

They were called to the area by a flashy Instagram post advertising a ‘Downtown Summerlin Shutdown.’

The post urged prospective attendees to ‘dress to impress’ and ‘come tripping cause we trip harder.’

It instructed teens to meet up at 4 pm and stay until they were kicked out.

A group of about 150 people organized at the shopping center before police ordered them to disperse. Some juveniles were seen fighting with officers.

At least five youths were cited for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
