A bus crashed into a suburban home while carrying seven people.

Emergency services rushed to Aplin Rd in Bonnyrigg Heights shortly before 10am on Tuesday following reports of the smash.

Seven people were assessed at the scene – six passengers and the bus driver.

The passengers only suffered minor injuries, including cuts and bruises.

The bus driver, believed to be aged in his 60s, was taken to Liverpool Hospital, also with minor injuries.

He walked off the bus from the crash but required further testing after complaining of a sore back and knees.

It’s understood nobody was inside the home at the time of the crash.

NSW Fire and Rescue, police and paramedics attended the scene.

A heavy tow vehicle will remove the bus from the house, which has been deemed structurally stable for the time being.

Photos from the scene showed the home suffered extensive damage to its front, with the majority affecting the garage.

Police officers were seen speaking with witnesses while the bus’ passengers sat on the home’s front lawn.

More to come.
