Alyssa Milano joined other celebrities paying tribute to her Charmed costar Shannen Elizabeth on Sunday, July 14, following her death at just 53.
The Beverly Hills, 90210, star had been battling breast cancer that she eventually said had spread to her brain.
Alyssa played Phoebe Halliwell in the long-running WB show Charmed, about a trio of witch sisters.
She issued a statement acknowledging the ‘troubled’ nature of their relationship but said ‘the world is less without her.’
‘It’s no secret that Shannen and I had a complicated relationship, but at its core was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of,’ Milano said via Entertainment Weekly.

Academy Award winner Viola Davis commented on People’s Instagram post about Shannen’s death.
‘Oh man! So sad. Rest in peace❤,” the How To Get Away With Murder star wrote.
