She also brought along her nine-year-old son Milan, who matched his little brother in a stylish cream satin jacket and shorts.
The Colombian superstar shares both boys with ex-husband Gerard Piqué, a former pro soccer player who split from last year after 11 years of marriage following allegations he was unfaithful.
Shakira, Milan and Sasha were seated front row for the annual festivities.
Next, Shakira and her collaborator Bizarrap were named this year’s Best Pop Song and Best Urban Interpretation winners.
Shakira slipped into a skimpy bodysuit to perform Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 for her peers and audiences at home.
She also performed the ballad Acróstico, an emotional song dedicated to her children, which was in the running for Song Of The Year.

Billboard reported that a pre-recorded video of Sasha and Milan singing the lyrics was played during the performance.

Kevyn Mauricio Cruz Moreno, the Colombian songwriter who works under the moniker Keityn, also received seven.
In a statement, Latin Recording Academy chief executive Manuel Abud said of the nominees: ‘This group of creators reflects musical excellence and the richness of Latin music, and I look forward to celebrating them during Latin Grammy Week in Seville which will be a truly historic moment for our organization.’
The Latin Grammys aired live on Univision in the US and Radio Television Espanola in Spain on Thursday night.
