Selena Gomez looked elegant on the red carpet as she attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala breakfast on Wednesday.
The splashy event – which also hosted Jennifer Lawrence, Laura Dern and Pamela Anderson – took place at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel.
The 32-year-old actress wore a flirty off-the-shoulder black-and-white dress that hugged her curves. It had gold buttons down the front and on the pockets for added pizzazz.
The Emilia Perez actress wore her dark hair down in a playful bob as she wore peach-toned lipstick. Her shoes were Mary Janes with a pointy toe and generous heel.
During her acceptance speech for her award, the girlfriend of Benny Blanco said it was important for audiences to see diverse actresses as she promised to ‘open doors’ for more Latinas.

The former Disney star wore several gold rings and carried a black quilted Chanel purse.
She sat next to pal Lawrence at her table, and was also seen talking up her Only Murders in the Building co-star Molly Shannon, as well as actress Kerry Washington, and former movie studio head Sherry Lansing who is now a philanthropist.
When on stage Gomez asked for continued growth in representation in the entertainment industry.
She was accepting the Equity in Entertainment Award.
‘Equity and representation means ensuring that women, regardless of their background, have equal opportunities to share their stories and showcase their talents,’ she began.
‘It’s about moving from tokenism to true inclusion, creating spaces where women of all races, sexual orientations and abilities are [welcome].’
She recalled when she was told it was amazing that a Latin girl was starring on Wizards of Waverly Place. It moved her.
‘I really wasn’t thinking about the importance of representation or the gravity of what those words meant,’ Gomez remembered.
‘But I knew that I was very grateful, and I wanted to do my best to live up to that, whatever form it looked like.’
She said young girls need to see themselves as heroes because it inspires them.

The siren stars alongside Zoe Saldana and Karla Sofía Gascon in the musical-comedy film ‘Emilia Perez’ and Selena’s performance has been widely praised by fans.
Asked if the reaction has been overwhelming, the brunette beauty told ‘CBS Sunday Morning’: ‘Sure. Maybe … It’s not that I really need anyone’s approval. I think I’m just really, I’m okay with where I am and who I am. And I’m glad. I’m glad that I finally got there.’
Selena has also enjoyed huge success with the TV show ‘Only Murders in the Building’, and the actress has relished working alongside comedy veterans Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Selena – who plays Mabel Mora on the mystery comedy-drama series – said: ‘These men, Steve and Martin, have been working longer than I’ve been alive, but they are the first ones to be on set. They take time to ask everyone they run into how their day is. And on top of it, they think everything through.
