Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will not be attending the 2024 Grammys amid the sexual assault allegations against him.

The 54-year-old rapper will be skipping the award show next month on February 4 despite being nominated in the Best Progressive R&B Album category for The Love Album: Off the Grid.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter published on Friday, he was not uninvited but is choosing to not attend due to the severity of the allegations.

Back in November, less than a week after Grammy nominations were announced, Cassie sued her former record label boss and ex-boyfriend, alleging he subjected her to physical and sexual abuse during their decade-long relationship.

The former couple ended up quickly settling the case, but more lawsuits from other women have emerged — all of which Diddy has ‘vehemently’ denied.

According to the legal documents from Cassie’s lawsuit, she claimed Diddy ‘was prone to uncontrollable rage, and frequently beat Ms. Ventura savagely.’

The bombshell case was dismissed just a day later when she reached a settlement with the rapper — with whom Cassie had an on-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.

In a statement shared with Page Six in the following days, she said: ‘I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control.

‘I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,’ she added.

Diddy gave a similar separate statement around the same time.

‘We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,’ the record producer stated. ‘I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.’

Cassie also agreed to dismiss her case ‘with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party’.

However, more allegations and lawsuits emerged with women claiming he sexually assaulted them as well.
