Scooter Braun has decided not to publicly wage war with Justin Bieber over his alleged $8 million debt, with insiders claiming the singer’s former manager is resigned but frustrated by the lack of payment.
It was reported earlier this week that pop star Bieber, 31, allegedly accrued the hefty sum after making the difficult decision to suspend his tumultuous ‘Justice’ tour in 2022 when he still had 70 dates left on the schedule. Bieber insiders have disputed the monetary figure.
While there is still an expectation for Bieber to recoup the losses, the Daily Mail has exclusively learned that Braun, 43, is giving the singer as much grace as possible – despite feeling frustrated by Bieber’s constant spending.
Sources told the Daily Mail that Braun does feel as though he has ‘been taken advantage of’, but does not want to be the center of a public brawl.
‘Scooter has sat back patiently while Justin spends millions on partying and renting out Nobu at Coachella,’ one source said.
‘He has given him so much grace because he cares deeply for him, but for Justin to continue going on like he has been taken advantage of is disgraceful.

Justin, 31, is claimed to have accrued the hefty sum after he canceled his Justice tour in 2022
‘Scooter bailed him out on his tour. He covered his entire eye-watering debt for the cancelation due to his illness.
‘Justin has not tried to pay him back. He needs to pay back his $8 million and this should be prioritized over launching a clothing brand.’
Another source added that: ‘Scooter doesn’t know if he will be getting the money back, but it just shows the money drama around Justin. It is a major upheaval and uphill battle for Justin right now in many facets of his life.’
In recent months, fans have been left dismayed by Bieber’s apparent erratic behavior.
He has been seen variously walking around shirtless and appearing agitated at events, while also posting footage to his Instagram with what appears to be drug paraphernalia.
This so-called ‘breakdown’ comes as Bieber has both become a new father (his wife Hailey Bieber, 28, gave birth to Jack Blues in August) and as his one-time musical mentor Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs stands trial on alleged sex trafficking charges.
Representatives for Bieber and Braun did not respond to requests for comment.
Earlier this week, shocking claims emerged about Bieber’s split from his former manager.
Braun spent years as one of the best known music managers in showbiz, shepherding such artists as Bieber, Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande.

He announced his retirement from the profession in June 2024, one day after he and Bieber ended their business relationship.
Now, an upcoming documentary has unearthed explosive allegations surrounding Bieber’s past with Braun, who had a part in discovering him.
An external audit commissioned by Braun’s company allegedly calculated after a six-month investigation that Bieber owes him over $8 million, according to TMZ.
In 2022, Bieber announced he was ending his tour early and made note of the fact that his face had been partly paralyzed by Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
However, insiders have since told TMZ the tour promoter AEG had given him a $40 million advance, of which he owed them $24 million back because of the cancelation.
Braun’s company Hybe America is said to have covered that amount, and Bieber supposedly agreed to reimburse the firm in instalments over the following decade – only to allegedly stop after one payment, per TMZ.

While insiders in Braun’s camp say Bieber’s team claimed the singer was short of the money, sources in Bieber’s camp tell a different story, according to the outlet.
The Bieber insiders told TMZ his then-business manager Lou Taylor deduced after looking through documents that he had overpaid Braun $26 million in commission.
Taylor’s bombshell was followed by an internal audit by Hybe, determining that Bieber had in fact paid Braun $1 million less than the manager was owed – an amount that Braun elected to waive, according to the report.
Bieber’s team, on the other hand, is said to have regarded Hybe’s internal audit as a crooked means for the company to serve its own interests, TMZ claimed.
Hybe allegedly enlisted outside auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to perform an independent investigation that lasted six months and produced a report this April stating Bieber owes Braun approximately $8,806,000, per TMZ.
Sources in Bieber’s camp told the publication that the singer’s team has conducted its own audit. They have not shared the results.
