Sabrina Carpenter fans have become convinced that the singer took at swipe at Donald Trump during her dazzling VMAs performance.
The popstar, 25, took to the stage during the star-studded awards show on Wednesday night to sing a medley of her three hits: Please Please Please, Taste, and Espresso.
At one point during the performance, Sabrina kissed an alien that was dressed in women’s clothing.
Immediately afterwards, social media erupted with theories that Sabrina was referencing a now-viral comment that former President Donald, 78, made during his debate against Vice President Kamala Harris one night prior.
Donald claimed that Kamala planned to do ‘transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison,’ and his statement was mercilessly mocked by liberals online.

And now, many people on the web believe that the Espresso songstress threw some subtle shade towards Trump’s bizarre claim during her show-stopping VMAs moment.
Sabrina – who took home the award for Song of the Year at the event – belted out her popular tunes alongside backup dancers who wore astronaut suits and alien costumes, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.
She sizzled in a sparkling bodysuit with tassels and glittering platform heels, while her platinum blonde locks cascaded down in loose curls.
At one point during the performance, she stopped to passionately kiss the alien – and a lot of X users believe the saucy moment had something to do with what Trump said at the debate.
‘Sabrina is a real one [for letting] the transgender alien have her moment after that Trump mention,’ one person joked.
‘Not the illegal transgender aliens from prison. Sabrina will pay for her crimes,’ another hilariously added.
‘Sabrina bringing illegal transgender alien on stage. Iconic,’ someone else wrote.
‘Trump tried to tell y’all. Sabrina swooped this poor transgender alien right out of jail after their operation,’ a fourth tweet read.

A fifth said: ‘Sabrina brought out the transgender alien, she might need a Cabinet position.’
‘Sabrina got the transgender alien straight from prison to perform with her period,’ a different user tweeted.
‘I still can’t believe Sabrina got the transgender alien on such short notice,’ someone else comically stated.
During the debate, Donald seemed to be referring to comments that Kamala made in 2019 regarding taxpayer-funded medical care for transgender individuals.
At the time, she was asked on a questionnaire, ‘As president, will you use your executive authority to ensure that transgender and nonbinary people who rely on the state for medical care — including those in prison and immigration detention — will have access to comprehensive treatment associated with gender transition, including all necessary surgical care?’

‘Yes,’ Kamala replied. ‘It is important that transgender individuals who rely on the state for care receive the treatment they need, which includes access to treatment associated with gender transition.’
Claims that Sabrina was referencing Trump’s ‘alien’ comment during her VMA performance came just days after her close pal Taylor Swift publicly endorsed his opponent Kamala.
In a Instagram post shared to Instagram, Taylor said she planned to vote for Kamala because she believed the 59-year-old ‘fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.’
She also praised Kamala’s running mate Tim Walz for ‘standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.’
