alert-–-roger-stone-denies-‘reckless’-report-claiming-he-spoke-with-nypd-cop-about-assassinating-democrats-eric-swalwell-and-jerry-nadler-weeks-before-2020-electionAlert – Roger Stone denies ‘reckless’ report claiming he spoke with NYPD cop about ASSASSINATING Democrats Eric Swalwell and Jerry Nadler weeks before 2020 election

Longtime Donald Trump advisor Roger Stone has come out blasting a ‘false, irresponsible and reckless’ report that claimed he spoke with a cop ahead of the 2020 election to plan the assassination of House Democrats Jerry Nadler and Eric Swalwell.

Audio said to have been obtained by Mediaite, although not explicitly published by the website, allegedly details Stone making threatening comments about the two lawmakers during a recorded conversation at a Florida café.

The site claims Stone urged for action to be taken, implying that one or both needed to be harmed.

But in a statement to DailyMail.com, Stone says such conversations are untrue.

‘If there is such an audio ,why don’t they post it? Why won’t they send it to me? If there is such an audio it would have to be illegally obtained and if there is such an audio it would have to be an AI generated fraud since I never said any of the words attributed to me,’ Stone said, challenging Mediaite to provide proof.

Stone has said there is no truth to a conversation that he planned to assassinate House Democrats Eric Swalwell (left) and Jerry Nadler (right). Both served on the House Judiciary Committee

In the supposed recording, Stone says: ‘It’s time to do it. Let’s go find Swalwell. It’s time to do it. Then we’ll see how brave the rest of them are. It’s time to do it,’ Stone is alleged to have said.

‘It’s either Nadler or Swalwell has to die before the election. They need to get the message. Let’s go find Swalwell and get this over with. I’m just not putting up with this shit anymore,’ Stone is alleged to have said in the obtained audio.

The officer with whom Stone was alleged to have spoken with at Caffe Europa in Fort Lauderdale was named as Sal Greco, a former NYPD cop who was providing security for Stone on the side.

The lack of details and the publication’s political lean left Stone enraged.

‘What was Officer Greco’s response to my alleged comments? Gee they don’t say. From an anonymous source? Sure. It’s a fraud. I’m click-bait,’ Stone stated.

‘Why would anyone believe Mediate, a left-wing rag with a long history of falsely vilifying me? Why would anyone believe their unproven claim of where and when this alleged conversation took place or who was present never mind the content? Three years ago? It’s false, irresponsible and reckless,’ he said.

Both Nadler and Swalwell served on the House Judiciary Committee but it was Nadler who announced an investigation into then-President Donald Trump’s decision to commute Stone’s sentence after he was convicted in the Mueller probe.

Stone was convicted of obstruction, witness tampering, and lying to Congress in the Mueller investigation and faced a nine-year prison sentence.

But Trump’s Justice Department intervened commuting Stone’s sentence just days before he was scheduled to report to prison.

Stone ultimately served no time as after receiving his conviction, Trump commuted his sentence, then pardoned Stone.

Stone’s animosity towards Nadler and Swalwell was rooted in years-long conflicts, with Stone expressing a desire to help Trump regain office in order to stop such investigations into him.

‘A jury found Roger Stone guilty,’ Nadler wrote on Twitter in July 2020. ‘By commuting his sentence, President Trump has infected our judicial system with partisanship and cronyism and attacked the rule of law. @House Judiciary will conduct an aggressive investigation into this brazen corruption.’

Responding to the recent remarks about Swalwell and Nadler, Stone dismissed them as ‘total nonsense’ and alleged AI manipulation without providing specific details.

Greco has not denied the comments but has downplayed their significance, stating, ‘I don’t think your reader is interested in ancient political fodder.’

Greco was fired by the NYPD in August 2022 because of his association with Stone.

A lawsuit accused the former cop of ‘wrongfully and knowingly associating with Roger Jason Stone, Jr., and reasonably believed to be engaged in, likely to engage in, or to have engaged in criminal activities.’

He was also found to have been present during the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
