With the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! just around the corner, co-host Robert Irwin has taken fans behind the scenes of a promo shoot for the popular reality show.

And taking to Tik Tok this week, the show’s official page revealed that inspiration for the video was found a little closer to home.

The clip opens with a very buoyant and dapper-looking Robert issuing his excitement about getting to film on home soil.

‘We’re about to start shooting for our wonderful promo,’ Robert began the clip. ‘Everyone’s ready to start dancing.’

As he swanned through the set, Robert was quick to point out the natural ambiance of the tranquil surrounds.

‘And we’re here – we’re at home,’ he said excitedly. This is so good. The macaws are in the background squawking away.’

He then joked, ‘here’s one approaching,’ before the camera panned to reveal his co-star Julia Morris comically squawking her way into frame.

‘Welcome to Zoo,’ Robert said to his co-star. ‘Although I hardly need to welcome you because this is your second home.’

Julia admitted that she had designs on making her visit to Robert’s enviable digs a little more permanent.

‘It’s about to become my private home,’ Julia joked. ‘Little beknownst to Robert I’m moving in.’

‘I can never have you over to my private home because it’s nowhere near as impressive as your private home.’

Robert agreed, boasting about the impressive menagerie of animals at Zoo.

‘Well, we do have crocodiles, we do have tigers. We’re in luck. we’ve got this bloke right here,’ Robert said pointing out a croc at his feet that offered the camera a good view of his menacing teeth.

‘That’s what I look like when I haven’t drunk enough water,’ Julia joked.

The behind-the-scenes video comes after radio host Brendan Fevola leaked some of the names of the celebrities who will be appearing on the upcoming series last week.

The AFL great, who was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity in 2023, dropped the names of four famous identities, including two ‘definites’, to  his radio co-hosts Fifi Box and Nick Cody.

‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here is fast approaching,’ Fevola said on-air.

‘This time of year, the ads start coming on, and (in) January, they head over. I did pop the question to our old mate Dave Thornton, and he stumbled, so I think he’s going in.’

Fevola added he had ‘heard’ that AFLW star Tayla Harris, who plays for Melbourne, was also one of the cast members.

While the radio star’s summation about Thornton and Harris’ entrance into the jungle was purely speculation, he claimed that Socceroos legend Robbie Slater was locked in to appear in the Channel Ten series.

‘Robbie Slater ex-Socceroo is going in. That’s a definite,’ Fevola said.

He also claimed that another ‘definite’ was his mate and NRL star Willie Mason, despite revealing the former Canterbury Bulldogs star had yet to sign a contract.

‘Another definite is my brother-from-another-mother Willy Mason will be heading into the jungle,’ Fevola said.
