Rita Ora firmly put rumours of a long-standing feud with Dua Lipa to rest as she revealed she wants to collaborate with her and two other British female chart-toppers.
The singer, 33, is hopeful she, Dua, Bebe Rexha and Ava Max – who are all of south east Europe heritage – can collaborate together on a new track and talked shut down speculation of rivalry on the Not Skinny But Not Fat by Amanda Hirsch.
Host Amanda commented there were a lot of Albanians in the music industry, and Rita replied: ‘Yeah, it’s great to see. When I started in 2012, there wasn’t.
‘So, now, we have Dua Lipa, and Bebe Rexha, and-,’ she was cut off by Amanda who asked if she ever got compared to them.
Rita responded: ‘I think it’s a natural thing when people get compared, especially because there’s not a lot of us in that part of the world.’

Amanda commented that there were a lot of Albanians in the music industry (pictured Dua Lipa in 2023), and Rita, 33, replied: ‘Yeah, it’s great to see. When I started in 2012, there wasn’t’
Amanda then asked if they had ever come together, and Rita said: ‘Yeah. With Ava Max and Bebe, I have.’
She continued: ‘Not so much with Dua, yet, but it would be great if we all did something great together. Just to kind of represent.’
Rita and Dua both hail from Kosovo, and both have Albanian heritage, but their connection goes deeper as their grandfathers were friends.
However, there have been reports over the years of a feud between the two, culminating in them, with Bebe, 34, trying to play peacemaker.
Bebe told The Sun in 2021: ‘I have really tried. I don’t know what’s really going on there or what the drama is. I’ve tried to always be the peace-keeper and bring the girls together.
‘For me, I would really love to do something together but I’m not sure that will ever happen. And I won’t say any more about that.’
Americans Bebe and Ava, 29, have Albanian parents. Bebe was the first to start making music out of all four women, beginning in 2010. Dua and Ava both debuted in 2013.
Bebe had her biggest success in 2023 with smash hit I’m Good (Blue) while Ava had a number one in 2018 with Sweet But Psycho.
It was recently revealed that Dua will soon be Britain’s richest female singer and is on track to become a billionaire by 40.

Later in the episode, Rita revealed who her favourite celebrity was – and it wasn’t her director husband Taika Waititi.
She said: ‘Do you know who I’m fangirling over? Coleen Rooney. She’s a Wag, she’s married to Wayne Rooney and she’s like my idol.
‘She did this incredible documentary on Disney+ and I just love her. ‘I love people that just do whatever the f*** they want.’
