Ricki-Lee Coulter has revealed why it’s so special returning to n Idol, 20 years ago after the show made her famous.
The singer, 39, told The West n, she is excited to reunite with Marcia Hines, who was a judge when she auditioned for season two of the show in 2004.
‘I Love Marcia, she’s my girl,’ she said.
‘We have a 20-year history and we’re very close, I love her dearly and does too. I think everyone’s gonna be really excited to have her back on the show.’
Marcia appeared as a guest judge on the last season of the singing show, but this year has had her role upgraded.

She was part of the original judging panel on n Idol, alongside record executive Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and singer Mark Holden, before quitting the show in 2009.
She will be joining Kyle Sandilands and Amy Shark on this season of the show.
Meanwhile, Ricki-Lee was 18 when she rose to fame after she made it to the top 10 on n Idol back in 2004.
She placed seventh, and the talented performer has remained a fixture of the music industry ever since.

Last year, she co-presented Channel Seven’s reboot of the show with Scott Tweedie.
Ricki-Lee also hosted the 2022 season of ‘s Got Talent on Seven, and was there to comfort the contestants backstage.
The Gold Coast native has had four No. 1 hits on the ARIA Dance Chart, ten Top 10 singles on ARIA Singles Chart, two Top 10 entries on the ARIA Albums Chart, and has accumulated more than 75 million streams.
