Actor Luke Millington Drake has garnered a large social media following for his videos, most notably where he performs impressions of the Hollywood actor, 66.

The pair sent fans wild on Wednesday after they remade one of the TikTok star’s skits, where Luke pretends to be Richard running through a field.

In the new clip, both real Richard and fake Richard enjoy bounding through the grass before coming face to face – at which point a debate breaks out about who is truly the genuine article.

Stars including Hannah Waddingham and Liv Tyler were quick to show how obsessed they were with the collaboration, with the Ted Lasso actress declaring ‘BraaabloodyVO!’

The video, captioned ‘Richard vs Richard’, begins with the Spice World actor telling the camera ‘Happy hump day all’ before it switches to Luke saying ‘It’s a beautiful day out there’.

The pair continue to run through the field, both announcing they are ‘out of puff’ before dramatically coming face to face.

‘Who the hell are you?’ Richard asks Luke – who is dressed in a red shirt with a green sweater vest and big framed glasses.

‘I’m Richard E. Grant, who the hell are you?’ Luke replies, to which Richard insists it is he who is the real deal.

Luke then tests the real Richard’s knowledge by asking: ‘Well if you’re Richard E. Grant then fill in the blank. Hello my name is Richard blank Grant.’

‘E,’ Richard harps back, prompting Luke to exclaim: ‘Damn. Foiled at the first hurdle.’

It is then the real Richard’s turn to test Luke, at which point he asks: ‘If you’re Richard E. Grant, whose face do we have on a statue in my garden?’

‘I have Barbra Streisand in my garden,’ Luke answers correctly. ‘Double damn,’ Richard replies.

Luke asks: ‘What movie did Barbra Streisand win her Oscar for? A. Happy Girl B. Funny Girl or C. Gone Girl?’

‘Don’t even try rain on my parade baby,’ Richard quips back in reference to Barbra’s iconic song from Funny Girl.

In reference to Richard’s recent role as Sir James in the Hollywood flick, Luke replies: ‘Ouch. SaltBURN.’

Dialling back the defensive, real Richard asks ‘fake’ Richard: ‘If there are two Richards, doesn’t that mean double the joy, double the laughter, double the pockets full of happiness?’

The pair agree they are better together and chant ‘Hydrangeas’ as they bound back into the field, this time together, before putting on top hats and singing ‘Run Richard, run Richard, run run run.’
