Rebekah Vardy is being whisked away on a week-long luxury holiday in Dubai by husband Jamie to ‘escape’ the I’m A Celeb launch on Sunday night.
The WAG, 42, jets off to the Emirates on Wednesday as she flees the UK ahead of rival Coleen Rooney’s debut appearance on the ITV series.
understands the getaway has been carefully timed with Becky and Jamie, 37, keen to miss coverage from I’m A Celeb’s opening show, where they fear being the butt of Ant & Dec’s gags.
And the couple are taking the break on their own, with the children believed to be staying behind.
A source revealed that Becky is dreading having the Wagatha Christie saga brought back to public scrutiny because of Coleen’s stint in the jungle and wants to be as far away from her TV as possible.
On Monday, Coleen was confirmed as one of the 12 campmates entering the n jungle this series – six years after Becky starred on the show.
An insider told : ‘Jamie is whisking Becky away for a week to Dubai during the I’m A Celeb launch.
‘The last thing she wants is to turn on her TV to see Coleen and the prospect of Ant & Dec making light of their painful court case fills her with dread.’

Coleen has been paid a reported £1.5million to star on I’m A Celeb this year alongside the likes of former Strictly pro dancer Oti Mabuse, 34, McFly singer Danny Jones, 38, influencer GK Barry, 25, and Loose Woman Jane Moore, 62, who touched down in on Tuesday.
She finally agreed to sign up following years of being approached by bosses given her 16-year marriage to Plymouth Argyle manager Wayne is in a strong position and their four children Kai, 14, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, are older.
The mother-of-four has paid tribute to her family by flying out to Brisbane on Monday wearing a gold necklace with her son’s names on it as she prepares to be without them for the next month.
Wearing a £1,060 silk set of pyjamas from designer brand Toteme, Coleen flew First Class via Emirates before sharing on Instagram a pre-recorded video displaying two white boards filled with plans she has organised in advanced for her children.
She said: ‘I can confirm I am going in the jungle… do you know what they have asked me for so many years now and I have always said no or put it off because the kids have been young and I’ve had a lot on… but this year I thought, do you know what? I quite fancy doing it.
‘I would like to experience something different, do something for myself, meet new people, I am looking forward to doing the trials.
‘Don’t get me wrong, I really anxious about leaving the kids, which is the biggest thing. For weeks and months that has been on my mind but I have come to terms with it.
‘I have planned and prepped, I have an army of people, family and friends, school friends, all helping out with the kids and they’re probably going to have a great time while I’m away.’

When asked about her best and worst attributes ahead of joining fellow stars such as N-Dubz singer Tulisa, 36, and Love Island’s Maura Higgins, 33, Coleen insisted she will galvanise the troops to ‘battle through.’
But she said her campmates may become irritated by her loud snoring after husband Wayne pointed out the annoying habit.
She said: ‘I didn’t think I snored, but Wayne says I snore. Not continuously though, just every now and again.’
Coleen’s appearance on the show comes after she won a libel court case against Becky, whom she accused of leaking stories about her in 2019.
