A mother has issued a plea to Taylor Swift after her daughter was hospitalised and will miss the pop star’s current n tour.
Katie Healy from Innisfail, Queensland took to Instagram over the weekend to explain her eight-year-old daughter Evelyn was flown to Townsville University Hospital last week after suffering from streptococcus pneumoniae and empyema.
While the young girl has been recovering well, it is certain she will miss the Sydney concert.
Katie took the opportunity to reach out to the global megastar as she shared footage from her sick daughter’s hospital room.
‘If there is any way [Taylor] might be able to find the time to send a little video to Evie, or just a comment on my post, it would mean the absolute world to a little girl who now has to spend her Eras Tour lifetime experience in hospital instead,’ she began.

The mother went on to explain that she acquired the tickets for Evelyn and her sister Bethany in June of last year.
Over the past eight months, the family had been diligently preparing costumes, learning all the songs, and discussing the concert.
‘Talking about what era we wanted to dress up as and all the possibilities was lots of and lots of fun,’ she continued, before adding, ‘It has been months in the planning’.

The Queensland mum has also encouraged Swifties to repost her daughter’s story widely, in the hope that the star will see the message.
Many Swifties offered their support in the comments on the post, with one writing, ‘Sending hugs and support on the mission for Taylor Swift.’
‘Hope you get a quick video from Taylor,’ added another, while someone else remarked, ‘Come on Taylor save the day!’
‘I hope TS comes through xx,’ wrote one more.
‘The Swiftie community is incredibly kind and beautiful,’ Ms Healy said in response.
