A group of pro-Israel protestors gathered outside the home of New York senator Chuck Schumer to boo and heckle him for his lackluster response to conflict in the Middle East.
Crowds outside of the Democrat Senate Majority Leader’s New York City residence chanted ‘shame on you’ and ‘Schumer, Schumer hide you’re face – you are a damn disgrace.’
Protestors screamed ‘Schumer has to go’ and clutched signs calling Schumer ‘Keffiyeh Chuckie’ and labeling the politician a ‘disgrace’.
The protestors rallied to show their dissatisfaction with Schumer’s behavior since the terror attack by Hamas on October 7.
At the front and center of the protest was Joseph Borgen, who was brutally beaten by a group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators in May 2021, as he made his way to a pro-Israel rally in Times Square while wearing a kippah.

Borgen said he’s protesting because, ‘one of the things that I wanted to achieve [after being attacked in 2021] was accountability’
The attack on Borgen occurred during a spike in anti-Jewish crimes during a major flare in violence between Hamas and Israel in May 2021.
Borgen told the DailyMail.com that ‘Senator Schumer has gone out there on multiple occasions claiming he is the guardian and protector of the Jewish people – where is he? We need him now more than ever and he’s nowhere to be found.’
Borgen said he’s protesting because, ‘one of the things that I wanted to achieve [after being attacked in 2021] was accountability.’
‘We are here today to seek accountability of Senator Schumer,’ Borgen said – adding that the politician continues to ‘stab Israel in the back’.
He claims Schumer does so by ‘calling for elections in Israel in the middle of a war’ and standing behind President Biden who ‘delays and pauses arms shipments to Israel on the basis of invading Rafah’.
Borgen also slammed Schumer for his lack of response to anti-Semitism on college campuses amidst the current chaos occurring nationwide as pro-Palestine students protest.

Failed 2021 Republican mayoral candidate and activist Curtis Sliwa was at the protest – wearing his signature bright red ‘Curtis Cliwa for NYC Mayor’ fleece.
Sliwa slammed Schumer, saying, ‘if Jews don’t defend ourselves – nobody else will.’
Mazi Pilip also attended the protest and told DailyMail.com, ‘Chuck Schumer has been very silent while anti-Semitism was taking place in the last seven months – and especially in the last three weeks, things were out of control.’
She also called out his support of Biden – saying they both need to pull themselves together and support Israel.
Schumer’s home has been the site of protests frequently amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Just weeks ago, hundreds of pro-Palestine protestors gathered outside his house to call for an end to the US sending weapons for Israel’s war in Gaza, according to organizers.
A spokesperson for the NYPD confirmed to DailyMail.com that 209 people were detained, though an official number of arrests will not be available until later Wednesday morning, as some of the mob may just receive a summons.
Far left groups Jewish Voice for Peace, far-left IfNotNow and Jews for Racial & Economic Justice led the estimated 2,000 protesters at Schumer’s Prospect Park home.

Videos on social media showed several protestors being zip-tied by police armed in riot gear. Many chanted slogans like ‘Cease-fire now’ and ‘Let Gaza live.’
They sat around a banner that said, ‘Jews say stop arming Israel,’ ‘Stop starving Gaza’ and ‘no one is free until everyone is free.’
Protesters even projected a digital banner onto the Brooklyn public library that declared in all-caps ‘Stop arming Israel.’
