A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water during a swimming carnival.
Emergency services were called to Prince Alfred Park Pool in Surry Hills, Sydney, about 1:30pm on Tuesday where they treated the high school student.
A passerby told Daily Mail the pool was hosting Newtown High School of the Performing Arts’ swimming carnival at the time.
Paramedics could be seen transporting her on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance confirmed the teen had been pulled from the water after suffering a medical episode and was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital.
More to come.
