The bodies of the missing pregnant teenager who was due to give birth and her boyfriend have been found dead, according to her family.

Savanah Nicole Soto, 18 and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, 22, vanished on December 23.

The couple’s bodies were found inside a vehicle on the northwest side of the Colinas Medical Apartments in San Antonio.

Soto was last seen at her Leon Valley apartment and was described to be in ‘imminent danger’ or involuntarily disappeared, according to authorities.

The nine-months pregnant teenager never showed up at the hospital where she was scheduled to be induced on Saturday at 6.30 pm.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the department will work with the Leon Valley Police Department to investigate her death.

McManus told reporters that the crime scene is ‘very complex and perplexing’.

He said: ‘Detectives right now are looking at this as a possible murder, but we don’t know for sure.’

McManus also said the police did not know who located the vehicle and did not clarify if the child had survived.

Mariana Delgado, who claims to be the deceased teenager’s sister-in-law, posted on Facebook that Soto’s body had been found early this evening and that she was in a ‘bad bad condition’.

Delgado later requested the family to be allowed to grieve.

‘Savanah was so, so happy because she was going to be a mommy. It breaks my heart,’ Soto’s mother Gloria Cordova had previously told KENS5.

‘Please come home. No one’s going to judge you. No one is going to say anything,’ Cordova said. ‘I just want you to be home.’

The Leon Valley Police Department had issued a CLEAR alert on Monday for Soto, described as a white female, 5-feet 1-inch tall, weighing 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The heartbroken mom said she last heard from her daughter on December 22 but failed to reach her on Saturday when she decided to check on Soto at her apartment outside San Antonio.

‘I went by there and knocked and knocked and knocked and she wasn’t answering,’ Cordova said. ‘We got to the hospital. They said she wasn’t there.’

Cordova said Soto was ready to become a mom, had the nursery done and planned on giving birth with her mother in the delivery room.

‘We don’t even know what happened. They said it could be anything,’ Cordova said, adding that her daughter would never disappear like this.

Cordova had also taken to social media to ask for help by posting a photo of pregnant Soto.

‘I’m worried about her safety she is with her boyfriend who is no good,’ the desperate mother had written in a Facebook post.

The bizarre disappearance of Soto elicited an overwhelming response from social media users, with a Facebook group being formed to search for the teenager.

More than 17,000 users joined the ‘Find Savannah Soto Discussion’ group as social media users fervently searched for clues that could possibly lead to Soto’s disappearance.

The discussion under #savannahsoto has garnered more than seven million views on TikTok as of Tuesday noon.

Social media users have accused Soto’s boyfriend Guerra of abuse, citing the bruises and marks they observed on Soto in her TikTok videos.

A user who claimed to be a neighbor of Soto and Guerra last year said they witnessed the boyfriend ‘arguing and beating her almost every day.’

‘I witnessed him beating her and kicked her downstairs while she was unconscious,’ the unnamed person said, adding that ‘he kicked her body and face’ and ‘she needed stitches.’

The person claimed they testified against Guerra, who is said to be on probation.

Guerra’s mother denied the accusations against her son: ‘I know my son and he wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.’

‘I know my son and his girlfriend were taken against their will because my son does what he does for money. He is not an abusive boyfriend,’ the mother said in a Facebook post that has been deleted.
