Charlotte Crosby has revealed she is having a planned C-section as she finds it ‘too hard to push a baby out’ as she opened up about her second pregnancy on Tuesday.

The reality star, 34, is already a proud mum to daughter Alba, two, and is just days away from welcoming her second baby girl with fiancé Jake Ankers.

Now, Charlotte has admitted she does not want to feel ‘out of control’ during child birth and has ‘absolutely no desire to push’ as she explained why she has booked for a C-section.

Speaking to new! magazine, she said: ‘I would always only have a C-section I have absolutely no desire to push a baby out of my vagina as it is too hard.

‘I had a C-section with Alba and it was such a good experience I like to be in control especially after my ectopic pregnancy [in 2016].

‘Waking up from that operation and being told I almost died and lost two reproductive organs was awful. I never want to feel out of control like that again.’

The birth will be filmed for Charlotte’s reality show, Geordie Shore: Charlotte’s Having Another Baby.

And the TV personality can’t wait for her pregnancy to be over as she admitted she is having a hard time in her final trimester.

She added: ‘I’m just surviving at this point. I’m so ready to have this baby now, I can’t wait I’ve been throwing up all morning.’

Charlotte had an ectopic pregnancy back in 2016 which left her fearing she would never be able to have kids.

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in the fallopian tube, meaning a baby is unable to develop and leaving the mother’s health in danger.

She said: ‘I hadn’t ever felt pain like this and couldn’t take anymore. I told Kate [a friend] to cancel the doctor, I need to go to the hospital, this is something worse than period pain.’

She said she found out she was pregnant after giving a urine sample and said of the moment: ‘I was in shock, and when Kate said ‘Congratulations!’ I said no no no, this is bad.’

Charlotte told how her heart sank as she knew it was something serious and recalls crying and panicking whether she could ever have a baby in the future.

She said: 'I would always only have a C-section I have absolutely no desire to push a baby out of my vagina as it is too hard. I had a C-section with Alba and it was such a good experience'

‘I found out my fallopian tube had completely ruptured, and the doctor had to remove my left fallopian tube and an ovary,’ she said.

After her traumatic experience, Charlotte said she ‘wanted control’ during her pregnancy with her first child Alba, opting for a planned caesarean.

It comes after Charlotte admitted her fiancé Jake was ‘devastated’ by the idea of having another daughter after his shocked gender reveal reaction.

The Geordie Shore legend claimed that her partner was disappointed to learn another little girl was on the way.

Charlotte explained how she filmed her gender reveal for her upcoming show but Jake did not hide his emotions.

She told The Mirror: ‘He wanted a boy so bad. I don’t want to ruin his reaction – because it was a big one, but we’re filming a TV show at the minute and we filmed the whole gender reveal, so I don’t want to give too much away, but he was devastated.’

Insisting he has now warmed up to the idea of having a second daughter, Charlotte said: ‘Now, he’s come round to the idea, so it’s all good!’

Jake initially caused a stir when he took to social media to jokingly vent after the gender reveal had taken place.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘Ahh s***! Here we go again!’

In October, Charlotte admitted that she had been hoping it was a little boy as well and she was shocked to discover she was expecting daughter number two.

Taking to Snapchat Charlotte shared a clip as the couple, who were on holidays in The Maldives, took to the beach with their daughter and set off coloured cannons to learn the news.

Flummoxed, she went on: ‘I can’t believe it, But I actually really wanted a boy as well. What, how?’.

She previously told The Mirror: ‘I’ve had a boy vibe from the beginning. I just woke up one day and thought, ‘I’m having a boy.’ I can’t wait to have this baby – and now I’m at 21 weeks, I can finally talk about it!’

‘If I do have a boy, I’m going to be so excited to see Jake’s reaction because he would absolutely love to have a boy’.

‘He has wished for this all of his life – he would just want a little boy to be able to take to football and do all of the boy things with. So if we have a boy, I’d be so happy for Jake.’

What is an ectopic pregnancy?

According to the NHS, an ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes.

The fallopian tubes are the tubes connecting the ovaries to the womb. If an egg gets stuck in them, it won’t develop into a baby and your health may be at risk if the pregnancy continues.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to save the pregnancy. It usually has to be removed using medicine or an operation.
