US singer Post Malone gave a diehard fan the incredible experience of performing alongside him at a music festival in Perth.
Putroe Sambinoe Meutuah, 26, taught herself guitar two hours before she was pulled onstage during the Post’s set at Spilt Milk festival at Claremont Showgrounds on Sunday.
The Indonesian fan was invited up to play the 28-year-old rapper’s song Stay after spotting her holding a sign in the crowd that read: ‘It’s my 5th time coming to your show. Can I play Stay tonight?’
‘It was a dream come true… I’ve loved Postie since 2017 and he’s been my top artist on Spotify ever since,’ she told Perth Now.
‘I just learned the chords two hours before the show on YouTube.’
She said she ‘messed up’ a few times, but Post assisted her by positioning her fingers on the fretboard of the guitar to play the right chords.
‘I got Post Malone and the whole crowds stopped singing because I forgot the chords and Posty himself taught me,’ she later said in an Instagram Story.
Post’s set at Spilt Milk in Perth marked the final stop of his tour in .
It comes after he treated his entourage to an epic pre-concert feed at Nando’s in Melbourne last week.
