The so-called ‘porn Dem,’ Susanna Gibson, lost her Virginia House of Delegates race Tuesday, after webcam videos of her having sex with her husband were exposed.
Republican businessman David Owen bested Gibson by less than 1,000 votes, final results showed.
Gibson’s race was one of the most watched during Tuesday’s off-off-year elections after she became embroiled in an eyebrow-raising scandal involving livestreaming sex acts with her husband for tips.
Her district was also rated one of the seven most competitive in the commonwealth, as Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin tried to retain the House of Delegates and flip the Democratic state Senate, in order to enact a 15-week abortion ban.
While Democrat Gibson fell short, so did Republican Youngkin, who lost control of the House of Delegates and failed to flip the state Senate, meaning he’ll be facing divided government the next two years, killing any sort of conservative agenda.
In September The Washington Post reported that the 40-year-old Gibson performed livestreamed sex acts for tips on the site Chaturbate with her husband

Gibson and Owen’s race was one of the last to be called.
In September, The Washington Post reported that Gibson, a 40-year-old nurse practitioner, and her husband, attorney John David Gibson, performed livestreamed sex acts on the site Chaturbate, a portmanteau for chatting while masturbating.
More than a dozen of those videos ended up on a secondary site, Recurbate, in September 2022 and were discovered by Republican operatives.
In one of the leaked clips, Gibson tells her husband, ‘I’ll let you f*** me in the a** doggy style in a private room if someone wants to pay. That’s the deal.’
Gibson told the audience that she’s in an open relationship with her husband, though he ‘doesn’t like sharing,’ adding that the money requested was ‘for a good cause.’
DailyMail.com captured Gibson days after the scandal broke, wearing daisy dukes and a tanktop outside her Henrico, Virginia home.
In a statement, Gibson called the exposure ‘an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family.’
‘It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me,’ the candidate continued. ‘My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up.’

Despite the scandal, Gibson didn’t drop out and focused her House of Delegates run on the issue of abortion
Virginia’s Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin has vowed to enact a 15-week abortion ban if the General Assembly goes Republican
Gibson used her healthcare background to center the race around abortion rights.
In the run-up to Election Day, Virginia Republicans sent out mailers to district voters reminding them of Gibson’s X-rated scandal.
The mailers included screenshots of Gibson’s livestreamed pornographic videos and said, ‘Warning: explicit material enclosed’ and ‘Do not open if you are under the age of 18.’
A statement from Gibson’s campaign condemned the Republicans’ actions.
‘David Owen and the Virginia GOP are trying to distract voters from their extreme agenda to ban abortion, defund schools and allow violent criminals to access weapons of war,’ it said.
‘Voters are tired of these desperate attacks, and they will not be fooled by them. Nothing will ever deter her commitment to our community,’ the statement said.
