Kemi Badenoch has accused Keir Starmer of ‘destroying growth’ and misleading Parliament over Labour’s new Schools Bill in fiery exchanges at Prime Minister’s Questions.
The Conservative leader pressed the Prime Minister on what he was doing to boost the public finances now after Chancellor Rachel Reeves outlined a slew of major infrastructure projects earlier today.
Ms Badenoch also accused Mr Starmer of misleading the Parliament over his answers given at last week’s PMQs before Speaker Lindsay Hoyle intervened to urge her to change her language.
Speaking in Oxfordshire, the Chancellor vowed to make Britain the best place in the world for investment as she backed a new runway at Heathrow and the redevelopment of Old Trafford.
