An urgent search has been launched for a 13-year-old boy missing since New Year’s Eve.
Police are looking for Matthew who was last seen around 6.30am on December 31 in the the Bowland Fold area in Lancaster.
Since he was reported as missing officers have been conducting enquiries but now they are turning to the public as they grow increasingly concerned for him.
A photo of the teenager was shared by the force on social media alongside an urgent appeal to find him.
Matthew was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white writing on and black trainers. He may be wearing dark green or black trousers.
The boy is described as 5ft tall, of slim build with dirty blonde hair that is long on top and has brown eyes.
He has link to Lancaster, Morecambe and Wigan.
