Pink took some time away from her busy Aussie tour schedule on Tuesday to perform for sick children at Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital.
The So What hitmaker, 44, gave them a day to remember as she visited and performed some acoustic songs on her guitar with her daughter Willow, 12.
One of the kids appeared on the Today show on Wednesday to talk about the international pop icon’s heartwarming visit, which was arranged by Challenge, a not-for-profit organisation that supports children with cancer.
10-year-old Imogen Mulgrew joined the show’s hosts alongside her parents and said she has been a fan of the popstar for years.
‘It took me a few seconds to realise that was Pink and I can’t event explain it (the moment),’ she said.

Imogen’s mother Shannon added: ‘It’s very emotional because it can be quite isolating in the hospital, so for Challenge to organise something like this was just amazing.’
Pink shared a precious video to Instagram on Tuesday capturing the sweet moment she visited the hospital and sang her hit ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’ to the kids.
Imogen featured in the heartfelt clip alongside Pink who told the 10-year-old ‘you’re like a little light bulb.’

Pink – born Alecia Beth Moore – captioned the clip: ‘It’s been 22 years since I first visited families at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and it was a privilege to return this week.
‘Thank you to everyone who spent time with me. Thank you for sharing your stories and letting us play you a couple of songs. We won’t forget this day.’
