Police are hunting the killer of a teenager who was fatally stabbed in broad daylight in a Wolverhampton park on Thursday.
Officers today released a photograph of victim Harleigh Hepworth, 17, from Staffordshire, who was knifed in West Park on Thursday, 7 March, around 4.30pm.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene and found Harleigh, but the youngster was declared dead a short time later.
A cordon around the park has now been lifted, but there will continue to be an increased police presence in the area for the time being.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: ‘Our enquiries into the death of 17-year-old Harleigh Hepworth in Wolverhampton’s West Park are today continuing.

‘The teenager from Staffordshire was fatally stabbed at around 4.30pm on Thursday (7 March).
‘We’re following a number of lines of enquiry to catch who was responsible for his tragic death.
‘A cordon around the park has now been lifted but you can expect to see a visible presence in the area as part of our investigation and to offer reassurance.
‘A teenager has lost his life and we’re working round the clock to get justice for Harleigh and his family.
‘We continue to work tirelessly with partners to steer young people away from violence with weapons.’
