The Philadelphia Eagles have replaced Kellen Moore at offensive coordinator by promoting Kevin Patullo, the organization have announced.
Moore quit after helping the team win the Super Bowl to take over as head coach at New Orleans Saints.
Patullo was pass game coordinator and associate head coach but now steps up for a more prominent role alongside Nick Sirianni.
Moore was a central figure in the Eagles winning the Super Bowl, helping them orchestrate a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.
To fill the vacancy that Patullo leaves through his promotion, the Eagles are expected to hire Parks Frazier from the Miami Dolphins, who has worked in Florida as an offensive assistant.
Patullo will now focus on making his own mark on an offense that boats two of the league’s best talents in quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley.

Kellen Moore left his role as Eagles OC to become head coach at New Orleans Saints
Nick Sirianni sent Patullo some glowing praise upon the announcement of his new job, saying: ‘Very important to the success that we’ve had. He wears a lot of different hats. Helps me a lot with different head coaching things.
‘I can’t tell you that I make a decision without saying to Kevin first, ‘What do you think?’ That’s in everything.
‘That’s in-game, out of game, with scheduling, that’s with offensive stuff, that’s with game-management stuff, I lean on him a lot.’
Sirianni continued: ‘That continuity is really important because he knows what I’m thinking in certain situations, how you want things to be taught, all of those different things, so he’s been a great resource for me the entire time, our success this year, but really the success we’ve had since we’ve been here.
‘Can’t be great without the greatness of others and that is definitely a fact with Kevin Patullo and I trust him with everything. Got a ton of trust and faith with him. He’s awesome.’
Quarterback Hurts sounded coy about the prospect of Patullo being his OC when asked about the possibility last week.
‘He’s never been- he’s had a different role. It’s hard to compare,’ Hurts said. ‘His job would demand something totally different of him.
‘I have a lot of confidence in him and what he’s shown. But over the years I’ve learned that’s out of my jurisdiction.’
