Petra Ecclestone’s real estate agent husband Sam Palmer has said they are ‘praying for a miracle’ as the Pacific Palisades veers closer to their $30.5million home in LA.
The raging wildfire – now burning over 2,900 acres of Los Angeles land – is rapidly ripping through the expensive A-list enclave, home to Ben Affleck, Chris Pratt, Reese Witherspoon and Miles Teller.
The Formula 1 heiress, 36 – daughter of Bernie Ecclestone – and her husband Sam lives in Brentwood, five miles out from the Pacific Palisades, with their four children, Lavinia, 10, seven-year-old twins James and Andrew, and Minnie, two.
Sharing a terrifying update on Instagram, Sam said their house is in ‘gods hands’ as they watched the fire, from their television, head to their area – hours after their children were evacuated from school.
He wrote: ‘This is so so scary.’
In another pictured with his son, he captioned his post: ‘Safe and sound. The house is in gods hands now’.

He later updated fans penning: ‘Watching the TV with the fire heading to our house praying for a miracle’.
Just 24 hours before the fire engulfed Los Angeles, Sam and Petra returned home from a family trip in Dubai.
In 2023, Sam and Petra splashed out on the sprawling property, which boasts seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and is 13,500 square feet.
The dark grey house is situated behind high gates and a large wall of olive and oak trees.
It has a huge garden complete with a large swimming pool, as well as a movie theatre room.
The mansion also has a music room and a wine cellar that can hold up to 200 bottles of wine.
The enormous blaze in the Pacific Palisades forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of people, some of whom abandoned their cars and fled on foot to safety with roads blocked.
Firefighters battling the blaze, which is burning through about five football fields a minute, warned they were running out of water and supplies, as evacuation warnings spread to Malibu and Calabasas.

Tankers full of water had been dousing the inferno from the skies all afternoon, but all aircraft were later grounded amid deteriorating wind conditions and visibility.
Residents were warned the worst is still yet to come as the raging wildfire burns through more than 2,900 acres of Los Angeles land at an extraordinary rate.
At least 30,000 residents are now under mandatory evacuation orders with more still warned they should be prepared to leave, after a fire that broke out in the foothills near Eaton Canyon has grown to 1,000 acres in just six hours since it began.
A third brush fire has broken out in Sylmar in the San Fernando Valley which recent estimates is around 100 acres big.

Hellish photos from the inferno’s epicenter show once-decadent million-dollar homes completely obliterated by the wildfire. A spiral staircase and opulent art gallery wall were seen burned to cinders.
Firefighters, which have said there is no hope of containing the fires overnight, are now focusing their efforts on helping residents get to safety.
