The couple — who wed in November 2021 — recently welcomed a daughter, London, via surrogate and they celebrated their son Phoenix’s 1st birthday last month.

It has become a cultural icon and a crown jewel of the music industry’s most important weekend, with a star-studded guest list and stellar performances remembered.

The invitation-only soiree also featured such A-listers as Paris Hilton, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Julia Garner and the members of Green Day.

Davis opened up about the legendary soiree during an interview with Variety on Thursday.

‘We don’t discuss performances because the whole thing is a surprise. But in the audience will be [Motown founder] Berry Gordy and Diana Ross and Jay-Z and Beyonce and Bon Jovi, and newer artists will be there, like SZA, Ice Spice, Noah Kahan and [basketball great] Scottie Pippen and [tennis superstars] Martina Navratilova and Serena Williams.

‘I think it will be Nancy Pelosi’s 24th or 25th consecutive year. It’s a unique audience.’

He added: ‘We’re here for the party, so obviously, there’s so much on my mind right now.

‘People are flying in from all over the world and we’re hoping to meet and perhaps exceed their expectations. That’s a big challenge. I take it seriously, and I’m excited.’

Sponsored by Hilton, IBM and Mastercard, the Pre-GRAMMY Gala will honor Sony Music Publishing Chairman and CEO Jon Platt as the 2024 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons honoree.

Throughout Platt’s leadership, Sony Music Publishing has fortified its historical foundation while also paving the way for future success.

This era has witnessed the establishment of groundbreaking collaborations with iconic songwriters such as Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, and Ashley Gorley.

Simultaneously, the company has welcomed a new wave of musical prodigies into its fold, including Olivia Rodrigo, Jack Harlow, Latto, Anitta, Central Cee, Kane Brown, and the Kid LAROI.

The bash arrives ahead of the 2024 Grammy Awards, which will be honoring music’s brightest stars in a celebration held at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles on February 4.

Hosted by Trevor Noah, this year’s celebration will air live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and its streaming service Paramount+.

This year SZA tops the nominations with a total of nine nods, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song Of The Year. Taylor Swift follows close behind with six nominations, and will also be competing against SZA in the three aforementioned categories.

The majority of Swift’s nominations were for her acclaimed album Midnights and its single Anti-Hero, which earned some of the best reviews of her career.

That track is up for Record of the Year, a category that honors the artists who recorded the song and its producers and engineers, as well as for the Song of the Year category, which honors songwriters. SZA’s track Kill Bill has also been nominated in both categories.

Swift has already made history in the Album of the Year category, currently tied for three previous wins with music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

However, she is now poised to become the first-ever person to win the category four times if Midnights ends up victorious this year.
