Held in the city’s sprawling Music Center, the dazzling affair is thrown by the nonprofit Gold House and honors Asian-Pacific achievement across various disciplines.
Among the many names being celebrated that evening was Padma, 53, who also put her Top Chef skills to use and planned the fete’s menu with Michelin star chef Vijay Kumar, who is also executive chef at Gold House.
