Olivia Wilde kept it low-key as she was spotted stepping out of the gym in Los Angeles on Friday.

The actress-director, 49, went make-up free after another intense session as she rehydrated with the help of her Stanley Cup.

Cutting a casual figure, the star threw on a baggy blue sweatshirt which she paired with some navy gym legging.

Scraping back her hair in a ponytail, she also opted for some dark shades, cutting a stark contrast to her usual glam appearance.

She kept comfortable in some blue and yellow striped Adidas trainers while she kept her essentials in her green and orange bag.

Olivia is frequently spotted at the gym, though previously admitted she doesn’t have a set workout routine in place.

In 2019, when she was residing in New York City with her then-fiancé Jason Sudeikis, she told CNBC: ‘We already walk more than people in a lot of other cities. But when you have an option to walk or take a car, walk if it’s an option. I’ll take the stairs.’

‘There’s often a way to [be active],’ she added. ‘Rather than sitting at home and taking a call and doing a phone meeting, walk around. You could often incorporate activity into your life.’

Away from the gym, The Don’t Worry Darling director is currently teaming up with Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment to helm the upcoming Christmas comedy Naughty.

The plot is described as a Bridesmaids in the North Pole as the storyline follows single mom Mallory, ‘whose only hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting trash-bag ex is to find Santa Claus and convince him to testify in her divorce hearing,’ Deadline reported.

The script was written by Cocaine Bear’s Jimmy Warden and the movie will be produced by Margo Robbie, her husband Tom Ackerley and LuckyChap co-founder Josey McNamara.

Olivia and Margot both worked on the bigger than life Hollywood story Babylon. The Independent Spirit Award winner revealed she lost the role of Leonardo DiCaprio’s wife to the Barbie star in The Wolf of Wall Street because she was ‘too sophisticated.’

‘The funniest thing I heard recently was I had heard for a part that I was too sophisticated.’ she told Howard Stern in 2016.

‘And I was like, Oh, that sounds nice. I like that feedback. I didn’t get the part, but I’m a very sophisticated person, and then I found out later that they actually said ‘old.’

Olivia was 28 at the time of the audition while Margo is six years her junior.

Since founding LuckyChap in 2014, the company has gone on to produce not only Barbie, but the Oscar winning Promising Young Woman starring Carey Mulligan, and Saltburn, starring Jacob Elordi, Barry Keoghan and Archie Madekwe.
