A notorious pro-life activist was spotted atop the Las Vegas’ sphere on Wednesday.

Maison Des Champs, who calls himself the ‘pro-life Spiderman,’ is known for scaling skyscrapers.

He claims he does it to raise money for women ‘in crisis pregnancies.’

The climber was arrested after descending from the sphere, which is 366-feet-high and opened last September.

Des Champs said in a statement: ‘Over 2,000 children meet their demise through abortion every day in America, but we’ve grown apathetic about it.

‘We care more about seeing Taylor Swift on the kiss cam than a third of our generation that has been wiped from abortion.’

Las Vegas police received a call about the sighting on the sphere at about 10am local time.

The pro-life charity Let Them Live said in a statement that Des Champs chose the location in honor of the Super Bowl, which taking place in Las Vegas on Sunday.

‘While half a million football fans arrive in Las Vegas for Superbowl LVIII, Des Champs wants to shake the public into caring about the fate of unborn children in our country,’ the statement read.

The charity added that Des Champs was raising funds for a 37-year-old woman who has an upcoming abortion appointment and reached out to the charity for financial help.

They shared a donation link with a goal of $25,000. The page had collected about $270 hours after his arrest.

‘In the spotlight of my climb today is Isabel, a brave soul currently navigating through life’s harshest storms, pregnant and facing uncertainty with every step,’ Des Champs wrote on the donation page.

‘Having had to make the heart-wrenching decision to adopt out three of her children, and with twins living with her ex-husband, she’s now facing the prospect of bringing a new life into this world under the most challenging circumstances imaginable. ‘

The sphere is the largest spherical structure in the world, with a 580,000-square-foot exterior.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for comment on this story.

In October, Des Champs was arrested after scaling the 588 foot Accenture tower in Chicago without a rope.

He has previously climbed The New York Times building in Manhattan and the Chase tower in Phoenix.
