Alert – Noel Gallagher leaves his London studio as he gears up for Oasis reunion tour – while band founder Tony McCarroll claims singer kicked him out over ‘silly row’

Noel Gallagher cut a casual figure on Friday as he was seen leaving his north London studio ahead of the hotly-anticipated Oasis reunion tour.

The singer, 57, kept a low-profile on the outing in all-black, teaming a fitted T-shirt with skinny jeans and Converse.

Noel completed his ensemble with a dog tag necklace and stylish sunglasses as he got in a black vehicle. 

While Noel rehearsed for the upcoming tour, the band’s founder and ex-drummer Tony McCarroll claimed Noel kicked him out the group over a ‘silly row’. 

Tony admitted he would love to be involved in the long-awaited Oasis reunion, which has accumulated an estimated £50million from ticket sales.

Breaking his silence on the tour, he told the Mirror: ‘It is a brilliant thing to be part of. I wish I was part of it. Hindsight is a great thing.

‘I remember it was hard (at the time when I left), especially watching the rise of the band going on to do stadiums. One of my final gigs was at Sheffield Arena and you did think back then “We have made it”.

‘From just three people watching us or two barmaids in the old days to now this. Then a silly argument and I was out of the band. I was in one day and out the next.’

What followed was a bitter rift that ended with Tony suing Noel in the High Court, claiming he was owed £15million in royalties – and eventually settle for £550,000.

While Noel had a net worth of £53million even before the new tour, Tony lives in a relative modest £200k semi-detached in South Manchester, which still has a mortgage.

Tony previously told that his former bandmates had not yet been in touch with him about the reunion, saying: ‘They haven’t reached out yet and to be honest I’m not holding my breath.

‘Would I consider being involved? I don’t know. At the end of the day I’m not the only ex-member left behind, so I’ll just crack on.

‘I haven’t made up my mind if I’m going to watch them play next year either. I was at their last ever gig in the UK at the V Festival. It’s weird and ironic that I was there at the first and last gig.

‘I think we all knew it was going to happen and it had to happen.

Oasis have dates booked across the UK, America, South America and Asia in 2025.

Noel has kicked off rehearsals for the hotly-anticipated Oasis comeback tour in the summer.

With just months away from their on stage reunion, Liam is said to be prioritising ‘rest’ instead of getting back in the studio with his brother Noel, 57.

A source close to Noel told The Mirror: ‘Noel is often in and out of the studio working on things, he is a singer songwriter so it’s only natural.

‘But Liam is a singer and he has a long list of dates ahead of him with Oasis this year so he will not be overdoing rehearsals. After a big solo Definitely Maybe tour your last year, the main thing his voice needs at the moment is rest.

The Oasis Live 25 tour kicks off on 4 July at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium before playing sell-out gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, and Edinburgh ‘s Murrayfield stadium.

The pair will then embark on a global tour taking in shows in Japan , Argentina, the United States and Brazil.

However, Liam is planning on meeting with the band in May to rehearse for the shows.

The source added: ‘The plan is for the band to start meeting up in May. They will jam around and work out a set list and Liam will be the last one to join in with the vocals.’
