Nina Dobrev was photographed entering a building on crutches following a serious bike accident in May.

The Vampire Diaries star slowly trekked up the steps to her physical therapy appointment in Santa Monica, California.

Nina kept it casual in a gray sweatshirt, black biker shorts, and white sneakers. Her left leg was bandaged from above the knee to the shin.

The 35-year-old accessorized with a black Prada cross-body and black shades and wore her long, dark hair straight down.

At one point, Nina was seen with her back to the building, trying to open the door with her crutch and head inside.

A day prior, the Degrassi alum shared photos of herself and her leg cast in bed.

‘In case you’ve wondering what I’ve been up to,’ Nina wrote on her Instagram Stories Monday. ‘Eat. Sleep. CPM machine. Physical therapy. Repeat.’

‘If you’ve had this injury you know what a CPM is…the rest of you won’t,’ she explained.

Per Verywell Health, a continuous passive motion machine (CPM) is a motorized device that ‘gently bends a joint back and forth to aid with recovery following a joint injury or surgery.’

According to the outlet, the machine’s goal is ‘to restore the range of motion of a joint to its pre-treatment level’ and ‘prevent scarring that can result in a loss of joint mobility. ‘

In the series of pictures, Nina held a beautiful bouquet of flowers and had waffles and a protein shake in bed.

The Love Hard star first revealed her major injury in May, announcing that she had to be hospitalized after getting into an accident while riding a motorized bike.

‘I’m ok,’ she told fans on social media at the time, ‘but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead.’

‘Life looks a lil different lately,’ Nina wrote beneath an Instagram carousel following the accident. ‘Trading in the “selfie” for the “leggie”. Get ready for the leg content because that’s all I’ve got in my camera roll these days.’

And Nina did not disappoint. She posed for a selfie wearing a face mask as her leg was in a large cast, and her crutches lay nearby.

Other shots included Nina eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in bed while her dog Maverick faithfully sat next to her and a snap of herself giving the middle finger while at a doctor’s appointment.

Nina also posted a sweet video of her boyfriend Shaun White dancing around the room while sporting a sweatshirt that read ‘Elena Gilbert,’ Nina’s character on The Vampire Diaries.

A month later, The Out-Laws actress shared that she had undergone surgery.

‘Surgery was a success. Thank you to everyone who has been sending kind messages, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes,’ she said. ‘I have been feeling the support and positive energy. It means more than you will ever know.’

But Nina’s injury isn’t stopping her from hitting the town, as she stepped out in a Miu Miu outfit with matching black and white crutches.

‘Crutches but make it Fashunnnn,’ she captioned the Instagram video.

Nina was dressed up for her ‘first time actually leaving the house in over two months.’

The Reunion star appeared on The Talk, where she went into further detail about her accident.

‘Don’t ever get on a dirt bike,’ Nina explained to the panel of hosts. ‘I was in a wheely, lost control, whisky throttled, bike flew. Luckily, it didn’t fall on me, which is what the doctor said would have been a lot worse. But when I landed, I landed on one leg, straight, and my knee just, like, snapped.’

She continued, ‘I got a giant brace. I can’t really walk on my own yet.’

But despite her injury, Nina shared she was happy to leave the house and have ‘an excuse to get dolled up.’

‘Cuddle puddle is my life these days,’ she concluded, ‘it’s just the puppies, and at home watching movies, physical therapy, eat, sleep, or pee is kind of the schedule.’
