alert-–-nikki-haley-brands-trump-a-loser-as-she-highlights-2024-rival’s-previous-loss-of-house,-senate-and-presidency-after-he-called-her-‘unelectable’Alert – Nikki Haley brands Trump a LOSER as she highlights 2024 rival’s previous loss of House, Senate and presidency after he called her ‘unelectable’

Nikki Haley took on former President Donald Trump’s claims that she’s ‘unelectable’ by blaming him for the Republican Party’s losses of the presidency and both houses of Congress in 2020.

Trump, at a rally ahead of the New Hampshire Primary on Tuesday, told his supporters that both Haley and Ron DeSantis were ‘unelectable’ against President Joe Biden.

He cited both Haley and DeSantis’ support for a 23 percent sales tax and said, ‘I think that makes them unelectable. And there’s other reasons they’re unelectable,’ but said the Democrats were propping them up because the party wanted them to run against him.

At an event in Hollis, New Hampshire, on Thursday, Haley furiously went after Trump – who leads her by 16 points in the latest New Hampshire poll – for his own electoral failures.

‘The reality is who lost the House for us? Who lost the Senate? Who lost the White House? Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump,’ she said.

‘Nikki Haley will win every single one of those back for us,’ she added and tried to mock him for not showing up to debates.

Haley has often stressed the point that Republicans have lost the popular vote in all but one election since 1988.

It was the first time, however, that she fully placed the GOP’s defeats at the hand of the man who led her party once he won the party’s nomination in 2016.

Trump, at that very same event in New Hampshire, reiterated that he felt the 2020 election was ‘rigged.’

In December, however, an exclusive DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners poll claimed Trump is the Republican candidate best placed to beat Biden in the critical swing states of Arizona and Georgia, though Haley can beat the Democrat in Wisconsin.

The results undermine one of the key arguments being made by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Haley: That they are more electable than Trump.

In fact, DailyMail.com’s swing states poll showed that while Trump beats Biden by five points in Arizona, DeSantis can only tie and Haley loses by two points.

In Georgia, Trump beats Biden in a head-to-head contest by two points, but DeSantis loses by six points and Haley loses by one.

Things are different in Wisconsin. There, Biden would beat Trump and DeSantis by four points if the 2024 election were held tomorrow, but would lose to Haley by one percentage point.

All the results carry a 4.2 percent margin of error but show that in at least two of the crucial battleground states, Trump is the strongest Republican challenger to Biden.

To get a shot at the current president, however, Haley must topple the long odds of beating his predecessor in the primary, a shot that looks longer each day after Trump dominated the Iowa Caucus.

Trump appears headed for another big victory in New Hampshire next week, despite Haley’s backer Governor Chris Sununu having previously said that his candidate would win.

The survey had Trump hitting 50 percent in the Granite State, just days after romping to victory in the Iowa Caucuses.

Haley, his chief rival in the state, was at 34 percent in the new Suffolk University/Boston Globe/NBC-10 poll, 16 points behind the frontrunner, after having come in third in Iowa.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who edged out Haley for second place in Iowa, was down at 5 percent.

Another recent poll, by WHDH-TV/Emerson, also had Trump holding a 16-point lead, but that was when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was still in the race. Christie’s exit has created the expectation that much of the anti-Trump candidate’s supporters would flock to Haley.

New Hampshire is critical to Haley’s own battle plans to try to unseat Trump. The state allows unaffiliated voters to cast votes in the GOP primary.

Trump’s campaign also began unloading on Haley on issues ranging from taxes to social security – even going after her by saying she ‘loves China.’

That critique comes from when she was serving as UN Ambassador – during the Trump administration.

While representing America as ambassador to the United Nations, Haley described Communist China as being ‘a really great friend of ours,’ according to the release, which featured a clip amid Trump’s own meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in an effort to secure more pressure on North Korea.

Trump also blasted Haley on Tuesday night, accusing her of exploiting the party’s election rules.

‘Nikki Haley in particular is counting on the Democrats and liberals to infiltrate your Republican primary,’ said Trump before an adoring crowd at the Atkinson Country Club.

‘You know that the left … that’s what’s happening … have a group of people coming in that are not Republicans and it’s artificially boosting her numbers here, although we’re still leading her by a lot.’

Haley does better among independents in the survey, getting 44 percent support to his 38 percent. But he ran up the numbers among Republicans and conservatives.

Trump continues to poll ahead of Biden in hypothetical General Election matchups, as well.

A Harris/The Messenger poll suggested that, while not a landslide, he’s currently slated to bag a hefty popular vote victory if the election were today.

The poll shows Trump leading Biden by a margin of 52-48 when matched up against each other.

Another survey taken that included options to vote for the likes of RFK Jr., Jill Stein and Cornel West show Trump besting Biden 43-40, with Kennedy leading the rest of the field at 12 percent.
