Nigel Farage has declared Reform UK now represents Britain’s ‘silent majority’ as he vowed to root out extremists by making the party more professional heading into future elections.
Mr Farage admitted the party lost votes in July because of ‘amateurism’ and insisted all candidates standing for the party will be vetted going forward.
He also claimed he didn’t care who was elected the next Conservative leader and that he decided to make a political comeback this year to challenge what he described as a ‘complete breach of trust with the British public on a truly historic scale’.
